The entire team at Lakeside couldn't be more accommodating, going out of their way to get us a 'proper' cup of tea and always ensuring we were enjoying our stay. The location was ideal, slightly out of Parentis so nice and quiet. The food at the restaurant was always excellent.
I am struggling to find any fault at all.

There was a friendly greeting from the woman on reception and she was kind and helpful. The terrace was great and the room very well equipped. It was quiet and comfortable and in a good location near the lake.
The man in charge of the dining room was unfriendly and unhelpful. The dinner was OK but overpriced. Breakfast was poor. I got down 45 minutes before closing time; they had run out of bread, viennoiserie, fruit, no one was filling things up, the TV was blaring, altogether not a good atmosphere.

hotel reception staff or help was only visible at check in and check out. our room had a small outdoor space but the view was into a backyard that did not look nice. atmosphere in the restaurant was not cosy and food was ok, but not more

The air of total professionalism allied to the friendly ,relaxed atmosphere. Dinner menu varied in content and flavours; delicious.
Lakeside setting offers plenty of water activities : participate or just watch!

Lovely lakeside location on the edge of a nice small town
Co-owner Lisa is/was a Yorkshire Lass and was the perfect hostess
The service, dark beer, evening meal & bread were excellent
