We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Dar Lbakal in Chefchaouen. The hotel is in a wonderful location near the highest part of the old town. It is a beautiful area, with very beautiful views of the town and mountain from the roof top terrace. The staff was very friendly and kind to our family. The hotel itself is well maintained and very clean.

Decor of room much better than the pics. They took seriously bad pics. Our room with 6 single beds was on the ground floor right next to reception. That was a good thing after all the climbing and walking to get to the hotel.
Breakfast was okay and was on the terrace with lovely views but no lift to get to the terrace.
Location is great.
Very far from parking. You're right in the medina so that means loads of climbing and steep stairs. Not good if you have kids.
Bathroom wasn't clean.
