This is an absolutely perfect place to stay to fully take in the charms of Wengen. Magnificent views and beautifully decorated rooms and facilities. I wish I had longer to stay here! The staff were very accommodating and friendly too. Loved the extra treat of the apple caramel pie in the room too.

we booked an accommodation for a couple with a 4 y child. we informed this on reservation and by email. I made clear I was travelling with a child and not a toddler or a baby. so I was not looking for an apartment for a couple. the hotel provided us an apartment for a couple and cot for a baby ( no bigger than 95 cm) we asked it to be replaced. the hotel keep us on the same apartment and grant us a bed. on the check out we had been charged an extra fee for the bed. there was no pre notice on charging. I see the charge was incorrect once we had be done for a entire family. the front desk could not provide us further explanation on the charging.

The location was excellent, the staff very friendly, the rooms spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable, the English TV channel choice better than usual, the balcony/view wonderful, the free sauna brilliant and the continental breakfast was very good.

A daily changing hot option at breakfast (other than the boiled egg) would have been welcome, but I was aware the hotel only provided a continental breakfast, which was very good, the bread choices especially. We didn't use the restaurant for dinner but might have been tempted to if a menu was readily available. The free shuttle service to/from the train station wasn't that well advertised.

Absolutely lovely! The location, food, and hospitality were fantastic! The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size with an amazing view and access to the patio. The boot and ski rooms were convenient and the sauna was clean and well appointed, including chilled lemon water. The staff made us feel SO comfortable and welcome from the moment we walked in the door, and the walk to/from the lift was very convenient and easy

Nothing! A few very minor items that would have further improved our wonderful stay 1) The shower half wall (vs door) wasn't able to prevent splashing outside no matter how carefully I angled the water, which combined with no vent/fan made the bathroom very wet. 2) More hooks on the walls in the room entry area would have been really helpful for letting gloves, goggles, helmets and jackets all dry better.
