great host. nice breakfast. twin beds
no a/c, no fan and no mosquito mesh on the window so could not have them open at night. as a result it was too hot in the bedroom.

Breakfast excellent. Location couldn’t have been better. Proprietor friendly and helpful, with a good sense of humour.
Very French in that the room was open plan with bathroom facilities in full view.

We had our belongings stolen from outside and although this was not the fault of the owners they were extremely unhelpful when we realized and asked simply if the bag had been handed in. Would never book it again.

on arrival after a day cycling in rain we were informed one of our two rooms was unavailable. language challenges made this tricky but we think due to water through the roof. so we ended a tough day sharing a family room, not at all what was booked.

This is a great value 2 star hotel and it perfectly met my expectations - not luxurious but perfect for a night or two to explore the town

The owners are lovely, the location is great - on the edge of the town centre, next to the river and much quieter than the main drag.
Copious breakfast served with a smile.
Pillows are a bit lumpy and my room had a window in the bathroom area so was a little dark.

Very friendly hosts. Very clean, quiet room. The extras were a lovely and unexpected surprise - a kettle with tea and coffee and toiletries! The bed was comfy and the shower efficient. The room temperature was ideal, the radiator was very efficient. The value for money was extraordinary. We parked for free just in front of the hotel and walked around the town centre. Great location

Small but ideally located hotel. Excellent value for money. The owner allowed us to park our motorcycles in his garage which was a real bonus. So very friendly and helpful.

The owners were lovely. It's a family hotel and you can really feel that, they made us feel very welcome. The room was good and clean. Breakfast was great, lovely coffee and chocolate and a really big meal for 7 euros.
There is no secure car park, but there is paid for parking immediately outside. At first I was concerned but we didn't have any problems and the parking was a reasonable price and it was a city hotel so parking is rare.

Just a one night stay in Villeneuve with an early start the next morning so we did not experience breakfast. Hotel was clean and comfortable, reception was friendly and the adjacent restaurant served magnificent duck.
We didn't think too much of Villeneuve. There were some nice historic buildings but we wouldn't plan to stop here again. If we did, we would use the Hotel des Remparts.
