Plenty of choice at the breakfast each day. They where accomadating with dietary requirements.
The staff are super lovely. Nota was amazing the whole trip, whether she was on the pool bar the sunset bar or serving in the restaurant. Good vibes and good service.
I think they should of had a larger supply of pool towels in rotation to reduce wait times.

The pool and swim-up bar are amazing. It was raining one of the evenings we stayed and it was epic having a swim at the same time! The staff are very accommodating and professional. The place is meticulously maintained and the menu for the main restaurant is really good. The breakfast is pretty good and there is quite a bit of choice. The loungers along the beach are awesome and make it easy to enjoy swimming and relaxing. The place was fully booked when we were there but it didn’t feel crowded at all. The beachfront villas are incredible, as are the outdoor showers. The fiafia night was really enjoyable and we ended up having quite a laugh. There are six cats around the resort and they are super cute. Lots of dvd options since there is no tv channels in the rooms but there is plenty to do at the resort and its really close to lots of the good tourist sites (including the lava fields and the To Sua trench which are within 10-25 mins away). The landing bar and the sports bar are great places to hang out during happy hour. The spa and massages were awesome! Very talented staff and relaxing.
The king rooms / hotel rooms look quite nice but there are little bugs in the bathrooms at night time that made it a bit unpleasant for those of our group in those rooms. Also those beds weren’t very comfortable and the aircon was problematic. Lots of noise/activity in the hotel area as well so it’s probably more suited for kids than adults/couples. Even though there is a kids pool, parents seem to bring them into the main pool which makes it loud sometimes and some young kids weren’t very hygienic (but when raised with the staff that was dealt with).

Beautiful rooms, great Al a carte meals, great staff (mostly), the slides into the ocean was a fave for our 2 boys, they spent alot of time on them. Great snorkeling with great variety.
Family friendly, with great new additions of the trampoline, childrens playground & pool.
snorkeling gear could do with an upgrade. Not all reception staff were very welcoming. Quite often they took awhile to acknowledge us and were not so helpful.
Slow service at meal times, often items where forgotten or wrong drinks made.

The whole resort was great. We will be back
Our table outside disappeared on day 5 and never returned. We expected it was used in the restaurant, but we have alternatives

Great service. We enjoyed the food & facilities. Beds a little too soft for my preference but great, clean & spacious rooms. Overall awesome place. We didn’t want to leave.
Washer not working

We had a family pool side villa which was lovely. I liked how they put the family's together as then all the kids make friends and play. There is so much to do even in rain. The fiafia night was amazing, staff do so well. Plenty of choice at breakfast.

The bed was nice and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast. Room was spacious.
The TV didn't have any channels, it was only for DVD. Our aircon wasn't working well (blowing warm air) during our entire stay although we had maintenance come in to fix it (twice). Luckily there was a fan but because we paid a lot for the room we expected to have an aircon. The shower also didn't have a curtain.

The place is perfect for families! Lots of activities, the pool is awesome, hotel right at the beach front!!
Far from the airport and some touristy attractions.

The resort has a good snorkelling beach and good food.
Unfortunately we did not have a good experience from this resort. The main reason was due an experience we had in our room. We had closed the louvred window but someone had cut through the bottom of outside wire net and were then able to open the louvre. When I noticed them looking in at us I tried to chase them but they ran off as soon as I yelled at them. The resort manager (while they were sympathetic and the next day fixed the wire netting outside) we did not feel that they did much to help us feel more secure. We also lost 2 swimming shorts during our stay, someone took them.
Money exchange.
We thought we were smart by bringing nz cash to exchange in Samoa. At the airport we got a fair exchange the going rate was $1.71 tala to $1 nzd and the airport gave us $1.63 which we thought was ok. When we got to the resort they had a sign saying they exchanged money at $1.62 to every $1 nzd so we thought if we needed more later we could just do it at the resort. The day came when we needed some cash (we have been to Apia by this stage and had had the opportunity to exchange at the banks for a similar rate to the airport but thought the resort was ok) however when we took our money to reception to exchange it they took the cash (without any other conditions being mentioned) into the back room and came out with the money minus an extra 10%. When I asked were the extra money was they just said that’s the exchange fee. It wasn’t written anywhere or told to us until we had exchanged already and if we hadn’t needed the cash that day we would have exchanged it back.
Airport transfers:
We had a group of 11 of us and we’re charged $75 tala or $43 NZD each to all go in one van from t airport to the resort 75 km. So that’s $825 tala or $473 nzd to get to the hotel. They also pre charged us the same to get back to the airport. So for one van with 11 people to get to the resort and back to the airport it cost $1650 tala or $946 nzd, is this a good price or a fair one?

The snorkeling is great, and the water is beautiful.
The food was not very good and was very overpriced. They needed more staff to provide service during the day. It could take an hour for a basic drink or food order. There’s no phones, TV, or wifi in the rooms, which would be fine if we weren’t paying so much.

We had a wonderful stay - bright large and clean rooms, a beautiful big pool with a sea view and delicious and varied food at the restaurants. Also breakfast was amazing, full cooked spread! Would highly recommend!

Lovely Spa massage, nice pool area, great beach & activities like kayaking, snorkelling; nice restaurant layout & decor; spacious clean rooms. Lovely gardens and layout in a beautiful location. Restaurant, spa, cleaning & grounds staff are polite & friendly. Cold filtered water refill stations are a great idea.
Alot of local produce not available in restaurant eg fresh drinking coconuts, oka or raw fish, banana fritters. Need more welcoming, friendly and engaging reception staff. Nicer music in pool area needed & availability or open times of pool bar is sporadic. No phone or iron in room on arrival (iron was brought in after requested which was good) No bedside lamp.

Nice location
Faulty sewerage vent in building meant room stank each night. Disappointing meals, poor value for money. No hot water.

Facilities
Service is based on skin colour, no equality as some of us are Samoans who live in Australia or New Zealand as well who are paying the same amount if not more but get pushed aside. We don’t even get a farewell which the white guests all get. We just check out and go. Worst experience for service both from workers and who appear to be owners, well we wouldn’t know they spoke to everyone but locals or Samoans staying there. I’ve been to worst places with better service and it makes a big difference

The location was great to explore the region with a hire car as a base. There was great snorkelling on the resort beach and lovely sunsets. The rooms were clean and modern and the burger night - wow, amazing!!
We had some issues with the rooms TV. Sometimes when travelling alone at night time after dinner its nice to be able to watch a movie or two. The staff were accommodating and ended up giving me 2 new TVs until we got one that worked.

nothing everything was good

The bathroom and air con was on point. clean rooms - easy access to the beach, pool well maintained.
No call access to reception - you have to walk there. cannot expect ppl to have calm access from a mobile. Resort communications on the current nights menus or events occurring at the resort are not explained or outlined. A brief introduction on how the facility works and where things are, are important.

Beautiful hotel in a great location.
Villa was spacious & private with the lots of options based on what you want to do from snorkelling, kayaking, tours or simply lazing by the pool.
Restaurant had good reasonably priced food.
It was a larger resort which meant it could feel a bit impersonal. You didn’t get to know the local Samoan staff very well, although the service couldn’t be faulted.

Location, scenery, facilities, cleansiness
Accomadation, kayaks, pool
Some staff were at times unhelpful with basic enquiries. Was given the wrong payment bill on checkout and upon further investigation found was given the payment bill for a differrent room
But all sorted out eventually

- Friendly staff
- great pool and pool bar
- slides into the lagoon
- Lots of menu options in restaurant (including vegetarian options).
- Option of outdoor and indoor shower in en-suite
- Kayaks and snorkelling
- bed wasn’t overly comfortable (a bit hard and was 2 beds joined together so you could feel the crack)
- No free Wi-Fi
- Fale was uncomfortably hot without the air conditioning on (housekeeping would turn aircon off and open windows when servicing the room and it would take a while to cool the room down again upon returning to the room).

- We were there for Christmas and there was a Christmas lunch buffet which was incredible

- Limited vegetarian food options (but I found this everywhere in Samoa)
