Fantastic breakfast, very helpful staff including organising a wine tour for us. A great Pizzeria / trattoria restaurant and tapas / wine bar restaurant on site. A great base for exploring the Siena area of Tuscany.
Just be aware the large pool complex adjacent to the hotel is public and I would imagine is very busy at the height of the season. However this is made clear in the description, and was never a problem to us. We also never heard the pool at the accommodation. The staff at the pool were most helpful in arranging sunbeds and parasols etc.

The hotel was just past the town, in a very quite part of the valley, with beautiful surroundings. Nevertheless, the access was very easy by car and it was very popular with the locals as the restaurant was full most nights! The facilities were very nice and clean, and the lobby smelled amazing! The breakfast buffet was really nice too, they had a base selection available every day and then a small menu to choose from. Everthing we tried was delicious and the staff were great, very attentive and friendly. We only got to enjoy the pool area one morning for about an hour as we had a packed itinerary, but it was great too. It is a very nice place to relax in the sunshine for a few days whilst still being about 30min away from main tourist attractions!

Location
Very clean room
Change of towels daily plus daily cleaning of the room
As a 6.7" guy, I found the bed quite uncomfortable because it was a bit short. Also, breakfast should have been a buffet choice one instead of ordering.

we stayed for 1 night in april. we were amazed by beautifull stone buildings, the room had a terrace, beds were comfotable and breakfast were delightfull. The apartement had separate entrance hall for all belongings, beautiful bathroom. we loved the stay and fully reccomend for a romantic trip.
Late check in (after 23:00) mihgt be little bit of a problem.

Lovely place, far from crowded area's; has its own restaurant; lovely garden, very kind and helpful staff
We had a little private garden, but no sun and a very dark room

Location, pool complex, both on-site independent restaurants
Breakfast staff were a bit surly and seemed disorganised. Juices not topped up for example.

No hot water for almost a day when we arrived, other than that everything else was absolutely perfect.

Lovely location and really beautiful area. Traditional look and feel and really comfortable. Our room was clean and spacious and we slept well!
Breakfast was abundant and the staff were lovely!
Restaurant attached to the hotel is brilliant food delicious and staff lovely 😊 catering for gluten free too!
Swimming was fantastic we didn’t realise how big it was and we wish we had stayed longer!
The bathroom could do with a bit of an update/attention and there was a step in there which could be a bit dangerous as we forgot when we got out of the shower, also nearly got stuck on the shower as the door was difficult to open from the inside!

fabulous staff and accommodations!

Absolutely the best way to enjoy the Tuscan countryside. Far enough from Siena for the quiet, but close enough for a taxi (25 euros average).
The hotel is in an old mill and is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed! The room was spacious, VERY clean and the terrace was incredible for those early morning sunbathing sessions!
The pool was public, but that means nothing- the pool was fantastic, barely ever full (even in July) and clean (it is very cold though!)
The staff were excellent and the most helpful they could ever be. They booked us taxis and spoke very good English, although we always try to speak Italian to help them out!
This was one of those rare gem finds, that I am so happy we stumbled upon, as we would not normally pick this kind of stay, but we are so glad we did!
The breakfast is great (if a little rich on the pastry side), but you can also ask for other items if you wish (it is a service breakfast, not a buffet).
The restaurant serves some of the best food we’ve ever had in our lives, and again, the staff could not do enough for us- and also very well priced for how good the food is!
Overall, we STRONGLY recommend this stay, and we will DEFINITELY be coming back! This was the perfect Tuscan holiday, and in our opinion, the only way we would ever see Siena and the countryside.
Bellissimo, perfetto!
Take bug spray! The countryside is full of bugs (they don’t bother us, but we did get bit) - also take notice of the taxi strikes if you use them!

Everything was wonderful accept that there was no private pool.
The pool was full with hundreds of persons because it is a public pool. On the website it is shown empty. They could at least make some hours only for guests or tell about at the website about the situation.

Everything
The location is pure heaven. The room was great, we stayed in the tour room. Each room has its own small garden, the swimmingpool is awesome. Everything amazing!

The place itself is lovely. The area was nice although not much to do given its so far from the town.
I booked this place specifically for the pool however upon arrival was told that the pool is closed between september and june which was a huge let down and very disappointing considering nothing was mentioned on the website or the third party sites advertising it. which left me doing absolutely nothing besides sit in the sun which was a shame.

The place is fancier than our expectations, the location is superb and the personnel is super friendly and nice.

The restaurant was very good and the the staff friendly and welcoming. Be advised to make your dinner reservations in advance as they get very busy and might not be able to serve you spontaneously. Breakfast was very good and offered sweet and savory options as well as coffee, tee and juice.
The large pool area that hotel guests can use for free has lost its glory and is worn down a little. On a sunny day it will still refresh you though.

Very good value for money, entrance to a large swimming pool complex included in price.
No wifi, the hostess said it would be available the following day (when I checked out), but based on other people's comments, I guess this is a recurring issue on this property.

really beautiful place with a nice view, everyone was nice and kind. Room was clean and cozy, breakfast fine(I believe it was a bit influenced by to covid situation, when organising the service - it was served upon reauest, but the food was great). We were sorrywe had no time to try the restaurant in the evening, it seemed to be perfect
the only weakness was a wifi connection - it was working, but it was quite slow...
