We had a studio that consisted of separate bedrooms. Very spacious and cozy. Large bathroom and comfy beds. Complimentary good coffee, tea and sweets. Location is perfect in the quaint center of Inveraray.

Cleanliness could be done better. Breakfast is basic and you have to pay for a warm breakfast. It doesn't have parking.

Great spot in the centre of Inveraray so can walk everywhere. We were able to get a park out the front for the night. Lovely lodging with a seperate bathroom & bedroom. Bathroom was lovely with roomy shower & vanity area. Bed was comfy, pillows were good and access was easy. Continental breakfast provided with big smiles, in the adjacent cafe. Lovely pastries & other choices.

The staff were incredibly friendly, the setting was amazing, room was perfect with the amazing addition of a bath. We really can’t fault a single thing. Particularly the staff we really have to praise them because they made the whole thing so amazing.

The windows made a bit of a racket in the night due to the wind but it was some 50/60 Gail force winds at that!

garden suite is very spacious, modern design with very “antique” details is cool, artwork presented in the suite is available for purchase, very comfortable and clean.

Mirror is not above bathroom sink. No microwave oven! Door lock was very difficult. Window cove ceiling corners are head bangers - could do with pads or contrasting paint colour. Window frames and cranks leaked in during rain.

Beautiful and tasteful rooms with traditional furniture and high quality linens. Modern and squeaky clean bathrooms. Excellent service from the staff. Heating worked wonderfully.

I liked all its aspects

The room was comfortable and clean and the bath was lovely. I paid a bit more for a superior room but it was different to the one advertised when booking the upgraded room. It was still nice but not quite as nice as the one I thought I was booking so maybe if that was clearer at the time of booking it would be good. Staff were nice and friendly and easy check in.

We chose breakfast included. I really do think it should be made clear that this is a continental breakfast and even at that it really didn’t have many options unless you want a croissant or cereal. For the price paid you’d really expect a cooked breakfast. If it was clear at the time of booking I wouldn’t have selected the breakfast included option. We ended up paying for breakfast on both days anyway as we were hungry so it was pointless having it included.

Great location and beautifully decorated. I’m usually a terrible sleeper away from home but got a great nights sleep here.

Felt the kitchen could benefit from an extra rack in the oven and a couple more oven trays. Maybe a microwave too? Couldn’t use the smart functions on the tv as the Wi-Fi connection wasn’t strong enough to stream, maybe a booster is needed?

Tutto, camera nuova bella ed accogliente, bagno stupendo, colazione ottima. Soggiorno veramente molto piacevole.

Very nice room with private bath. Great location right in the heart of the town and on the shores of scenic Loch Fyne. Only a short (12-minute?) walk to the magnificent Inverness Castle, home of the Duke of Argyll and Chief of Clan Campbell. Also a walk of only a few minutes to the bell tower of the town's largest church, which provides bird's-eye views of the area. Historic town jail is also well worth touring. My stay in Inveraray & the Brambles were a highlight of a nearly 3-week trip to the UK! Note to train passengers: there is no rail station in Inveraray, but it is a beautiful, inexpensive (only $16 or so) bus ride from Glasgow, offering some of the best scenery you will see in the UK!

It was fairly expensive in late August -- about $160 a night, as I recall. But well worth it!

I love the size of the room and the decor

I'd have loved a room with a bathtub, however, I know these rooms cannot be guaranteed

The bedroom and bathroom facilities were superb. The central location was good as was the ease of parking in the street.

The booking system was down when we arrived and there was great confusion about our room. We had an email showing that we had booked a double room, the staff seemed to think that we had booked an apartment. One member of staff in the cafe (who technically had already gone off duty) was excellent, others seemed disinterested and somewhat chaotic. Breakfast the next morning did not match up to the calibre of the accommodation and the staff seemed to lack organisation and direction.

We understand the complexities in bringing an old building up to modern standards and accept some limitations (for example parking facilities). But when we placed used towels on the floor (the usual method of requesting new towels), we were surprised to find the same wet towels back on the towel rack.

the bed was too soft for my bad back but thats not really brambles fault i would like to see a grab handle in the shower to steady myself when geting in and out, the breakfasts were great staff were very friendly and all smily, i will really want to go again
