beautiful location with friendly and welcoming staff. our villa was very clean and comfortable and had lots to use in the kitchen.

Great views, amazing location and roomy villas in the heart of the Hunter. The staff on reception were really helpful on check in allowing me to check in early to help my work schedule. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen well equipped. Nice fluffy white towels. All the basics - big ticks. Hunter is expensive at weekends but I was able to stay for one night at market rate which is why I booked. The villa was good for purpose and I would recommend with a few caviats as below. Overall I'd say it's pretty good value if you want somewhere to sleep at night when wine tasting during the day.

The apartments are dated and the pool area a bit uninspiring. The restaurant wasn't open which would have been good but there are local places and reception were very helpful in making recommendations. The bed sheets and the towels, floors, sinks, bathroom were all really clean however the blinds were really dusty and when I went to lock the window there were lots of dead flies in the runners so a bit of attention to detail is needed. When I checked into my room I realised all the windows had been closed but not locked, the safety lock on my door was missing and the fly screen / security door had a patch missing so wasn't secure at all. As a woman travelling on my own this wasn't great and made me feel a bit nervous - although I do appreciate in general the Hunter Valley is very safe.

Nightingale Winery was gorgeous! Amazing view sitting on the front porch of our villa. The owner was wonderful and gave us a few wines to taste, we ended up purchasing the Shiraz and Sav Blanc. The villa was clean and in an open layout which we loved. TV with some channels.

The view was so relaxing, the property location was perfect.

the property was a little tired, could do with some freshening up.

The owners and staff went out of their way to ensure that we were safe, comfortable and well-informed during the major flood event in July. The room was beautiful with great views. It was lovely to have lots of wildlife around us as well.
