Cute, tiny hotel in a historic villa, hidden in Jerusalem's livable, scenic Moshava neighborhood. Staff is AMAZING, remembering our name and making us feel at home from the moment we walked through the door. We loved drinking coffee in our balcony overlooking the gardens. Convenient location for early morning visits to the US Embassy consular section (~10 min taxi). Located near a 24 hour mini mart, bagel place, and many restaurants in the high street 2 min away.

Nice boutique feel; fine staff, comfortable room. Ideal for couples or single traveler.

I have stayed at a number of places in the area during my short visits to Jerusalem this year and the Villa Brown Moshava is my favorite so far. The facility is in very good condition, comfortable, all the little ‘extras’ and topped off with pleasant service from Majdi. It is an excellent value and it is located very conveniently for food, public transportation and the activity that I go to participate in. I look forward to visiting again soon.
No complaints.

the villa looks nice, lobby is cool.
value for money is very low. the rooms are small, there is NO breakfast at the hotel and it’s not stated anywhere in the booking ad. they give you voucher to eat at the cafe which is 15 minutes walk from the hotel. (quite far). you come there and they give you place at the bar and say: “oh at the hotel they didn’t tell you?”. and after the breakfast is done they ask for tips which are not included.
so, yeah, very disappointing experience.
and forgot to say: at the day of arrival the price went down to 600 shekels which was very disappointing and did not make any upgrade.

The staff were wonderful. Especially because the last day of our stay was the first day Hamas attacked Israel and we all woke up to missiles and sirens. The staff were on hand to direct and reassure us. They offered us an extra night if we needed it, and they got us our taxi to the airport where we did manage to get the last plane. They put us first throughout the day.
Additionally the breakfasts at local restaurants Ben Ami and Caffit were fantastic.
On arrival there was a confusion about our rooms and we weren't given the room we expected. I was travelling with my 70 year old father and we ended up sharing quite a small twin room. That said, when the manager realised what had happened he did get the biggest room he could for us. This may have been a booking.com issue.
Generally however, the room was comfortable and well furnished and the shower was good. The foyer was classy and the hotel itself felt comfortable and safe - when the Hamas attack happened they looked after us well.

Location. Courtyard. Hotel design. A few people. Quality of ventilation in the room
Disgusting room conditions, for example: dirty glasses with lip prints, incomplete washing kit, dirty bedside tables, stained table. The mirror and glass in the bathroom are dirty, as is the floor, ets.
Also, many things need to change.
And there are many more small points that cannot be written here.

Overall the hotel was very nice, the staff helpful and the hotel is a good location.
The courtyard was a very relaxing area to sit with friends or to just have some quiet time.
Being pedantic I would say that the bedroom was at best adequate. The bathroom was dated and needed a refurbishment.
I was disappointed that there was no coffee facilities in the room ( you could get at reception to be fair) and that in the extreme heat that the water bottles were not placed in our room each day.

Good location.
Situated in a lovely building.
The staff was welcoming and willing to provide help and information.

The breakfast is not at the hotel, but the place they send you to is really great.
Lots of parking around the hotel on the weekend.
The rooms need a renovation, does not worth the price (but its not unusual at all in Israel).

The location and the staff!
Rooms a little smaller than expected.

The location is fantastic and the room was very comfortable and beautifully furnished.
Breakfast is served externally and if you are sabbath observant there isn’t any kosher food option. Having paid in advance, I wasn’t able to use nor get a refund.

The staff were kind and helpful, the building is beautiful
The room was tiny, not very well maintained
and the hotel doesn't offer any special facilities, so in terms of value for money it was a disappointment.

The best boutique hotel in Jerusalem. It is in a nice neighbourhood, with lots of restaurants nearby, but also close to everything (the old city or the city center is a 30 min-walk). But after a day full of programmes, this hotel has the best to offer: a quiet and nice terrace or a lobby salon for a glass of wine or a cup of coffee.
Special thanks to Eman, Suheir and the lady during the evening. They were very nice and helpful.

Nothing much.
Too expensive it was run down and shabby. Bad plumbing flooded the bathroom. Tried to report it to reception the guy said he would look at it when he had finished eating. !Curtains didnt fit. Bathroom fittings old and looked corroded. Windows dirty. Inconvenient location. Very average breakfast at nearby cafe. Receptionist when we arrived same as the one who took his time to clear bathroom flood was reluctant to give us info on breakfast etc didnt help with bags up.stairs to hotel. No facilities like bar or restaurant wanted to charge a lotwhen I wanted a white wine instead of the free red wine etcI I have now asked for email of Brown Hotels customer service several times have not received it .Avoid unless they halve their prices and spruce the place up. Borderline 2 and half .star at 4 to 5 star prices.

Great staff - friendly and very helpful with all requests and questions
Comfortable bed.
Very clean everywhere.
The hotel is in an historic building with beautiful architecture.
The bathroom was disappointing. We had to keep most of our toiletries in the bedroom.
The closet was small and set above the refrigerator. Couldn't fit all our things. There were not enough suitcase stands, so our suitcases were on the floor.

Great location, nice building, they give bicycles, nice patio
Rooms are small and I didn't like the design of the room. This hotel used to be better before joining Brown chain of hotels. There was unpleasant smell in the bathroom, low water pressure. Also they use some smell dispenser in the lobby and it was awful.

The location was perfect. The hotel charming. The hospitality superior. Eman, the concierge during our stay went above and beyond to see to our needs and comfort. It was her personal touch that made our stay in this hotel exceptional. The room was beautiful, the amenities exceptional. The room was a little small for 2 people trying to move around and dress at the same time. There was insufficient space between the desk chair and the bed and a chair on wheels would be better. That said, we were exceptionally pleased with the hotel.
The room needs to be a little larger to accommodate 2 people.

- it’s properly beautiful. Like, the outside, the hall, the rooms, everything.
- the staff were very helpful
- the location - it felt very peaceful and safe. I was walking the entire time
- the shower leaks into the bathroom a bit. The drain in the shower itself looked a bit strange, like the cover was bent and you could see inside the pipes.
- spa center communication - I sent a message asking to book massage, the person replying didn’t confirm that they booked, didn’t tell me the price when I asked. Then they just showed up, at which point I was totally not ready because I thought nothing was booked for me
- restaurants - you have to walk ~5 min to get to the nearest restaurant
