Great location Outside space is fantastic

poor and cheap Ikea kitchen equipment no or to little supplies provided (dishwasher tabs, toilet paper etc) moldy smelly bathroom

I like it all. the rooms are beautiful, clean, what can I say I didn’t want to leave.

it’s hard to organize taxi if you did not bring your own car. not a problem of the hotel. they went above and beyond to get a taxi for us. it is a general infrastructure issue in that part of the country

Beautiful property in a nice quiet location on the outskirts of Venturina, but close to the Calidario thermal pool. I think it would be a great location for a stay close to the Tuscan Coast and to explore the local wineries (Petra, Gualdo del Re, Bolgheri)

Wifi was a bit weak and unpredictable, but then I did use it a lot for work calls.

Louise from the reception was very helpful explaining us the very easy self-check-in procedure as we arrived very late and also warmly welcomed us the next day. She also took great care when we once had a little problem with the electricity (which was our fault). We loved the view from the spacious balcony and also the beautiful garden and pool area. Everything is very clean, designed with love for the detail and well-equipped. We felt very safe there also in Covid times as everything is so spacious and the appartments have their own entrances. The place is located a five minutes walk from the Etruscan Calidario Terme where you can go for a swim in thermal water and do certain wellness treatments and which has a great bar/restaurant. Il Bottaccio is also in walking distance from the center of Venturina Terme where you find shops and some cafes and Pizzerias and it's a 10 minutes drive from the sea (e.g. San Vincenzo with a lot of restaurants etc. and Baratti beach which is amazing for long beach walks with a view) .

WIFI could be a bit faster - it's sufficient for checking mails and so on, but not recommendable in case you plan to work from there.

The major problem of the apartments is that they are poorly soundproofed.
