Chalet du lac de Lure est de deux niveaux séparés en trois grandes chambres, offrant plus d'espace que d'un pavillon typique de Lure lac ou autres locations de cabine de Lure. Le premier et le deuxième étage à la fois avoir une salle de bain complète taille avec baignoire / douche. La cuisine, salle de séjour avec grande cheminée en pierre et salle à manger sont tous situés au premier étage. Le gîte dispose de chauffage central et la climatisation, avec arôme naturel de cèdre lambris avec entraits.
Le chalet peut accueillir jusqu'à sept personnes confortablement.
Le hangar moderne situé directement sur les rives du lac de Lure, offre des vues splendides sur le lac de Lure et Snug Harbor Cove. En plus de superbes vues sur le lac de Lure, le hangar à bateaux a ponts abondantes et plates-formes pour bronzer, la plongée et l'accès à l'une des plus belles criques de pêche sur le lac de Lure.
Sports nautiques, randonnée, magasins et restaurants sont situés autour du lac Lure, une belle Caroline du Nord destination de vacances ouest.

Amazing views of fall foliage from this wonderful cabin and boathouse on the lake! The cabin was even nicer than we expected. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Cabin in conveniently located. We visited Chimney Rock, local shops & restaurants,gem mining, the Flowering Bridge, Sky Top Apple Orchard (30 min) and Western NC Nature Center.(45 min). Joan responded quickly to any questions we had.

This place had everything we were looking for in a nice, quiet lake house. Small, but good use of space for two couples to comfortably enjoy. The house was very clean and the few questions we had for the property owner were met with a prompt phone call and/or message over the app. I would have been content just hanging out at the house and on the boat house deck every day, but we had big daily plans of visiting Ashville, Hendersonville and Chimney Rock. It is a nostalgic place you might have grew up visiting as a kid. Its what a cabin on the lake should be, and we look forward to our next visit when we'll spend more time at the house and lake. Thank you for sharing it with us.

We had a great time. The only thing the house needs is brighter lighting and a TV in each bedroom, other than that, the house was great.

We had a wonderful line of communication with our property owner; however, when we entered the house, I was stunned at how old and outdated the furniture was! It would certainly improve the home if there was a new couch and chairs.
When we arrived and I got over the shock of the furniture, I went into the downstairs bedroom and found the bed only halfway made. Why?
The lake area was pleasant but we were unable to open the door to access any of the equipment. So . . .

The cabin was quaint, homey and enough space for our family of 4.
The kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils. The appliances were clean as well as the bathrooms. There were some cobwebs but it’s the mountains and we anticipated a few based off other reviews.
The driveway was tight with our large truck as well as steep which made for some fun and wrecks for the kids on bikes. Overall it was great stay with easy checkout requests and we’d love to go back.
The dock and swimming access along with the water equipment were just what we wanted.

Clean, comfortable and cozy cottage on the lake. Absolutely perfect for Lake Lure and the Village at Chimney Rock State Park. If you like tranquility this private lake experience will deliver. Find a friend with a boat or rent one. The lake tour is worth it.

A great location. It was a bit more rustic than I expected, and there were a lot of cobwebs on the property. The canoe was unusable and one of the paddle boards was missing a skeg. We were excited to get on the lake with these water toys, so kinda disappointing. I would return if these things were addressed. If you go, be sure to check out the Flower Bridge nearby in Chimney rock!

This was our third stay here and the accommodations were fantastic in every way, but the location and especially the views were even better. Even during a rainy week, there were endless options for entertainment and dining, along with incredible views in every direction. Literally the perfect family spot! Thanks so much for hosting us!

My family and I had a lovely, peaceful time in this clean, cozy, well-equiprd cottage by the lake. My nephew and two grandnephews are from Belgium so the area around Lake Lure was a new experience for them. They enjoyed the canoe and the available equipment in the boathouse and we rented a motor boat; scooting around the lake was really fun. The owner was approachable and answered all my questions. The kitchen had everything we needed.. Thank you to VRBO and Joan.

I stayed at this property for spring break with friends. It had all that we needed. Even though the lake was lower than we would have liked, we were able to enjoy it!

This house has everything you need. Great landscape and views. Boathouse has canoe, kayak and SUP as well as a beautiful deck to lounge on. Water was low but still able to enjoy and owner let us know. Close to town and Black Mt/Ashville is a 45ish min drive. Rented in April which is their off season. Not a lot of traffic and lots of places open for business. Would love to stay here again.

During our stay the lake had been drained in order to do repairs so we could not take advantage of the lake. The boat house was nice to enjoy evening cocktails.
The cabin could have used some more bath and kitchen amenities, especially for those just staying a few days.

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving at this lovely lake home. The two boys canoed and even did a frigid water dive. Cooked complete thanksgiving meal in the small but extremely well equipped kitchen. We will come back.

Great place to stay. House was very clean, kitchen had everything you’d need and the things provided were of good quality, bathrooms were nicely finished and clean. Even the towels provided were plush! Beds were comfortable….we slept so well!! Living room had comfy seating, nice TV with cable and the WiFi had a consistently strong signal. The stone wood-burning fireplace was beautiful. The owner responded to our questions quickly. The area was quiet and we were able to rest, read and talk. Everything we needed was provided. The Boathouse was so nice. Just a few steps from the house, great views of Lake Lure from the deck on top of the boathouse. We definitely want to go back!!

My wife and I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary at this beautiful cottage which is situated on a picturesque cove on Lake Lure. The weather and Fall scenery was perfect. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing (provided with the rental property)during the day. Boat traffic was almost nonexistent. In the evenings, we mounted the spiral staircase to the roof deck of the boathouse to watch the sunset behind the surrounding foothills.
We had the good fortune of enjoying shooting stars and the reflective glow of a half moon. The Lake experience was everything my wife had imagined, so much so that she could not stop talking about wanting to buy property there.
Inside, the cottage met our every need. We cooked our own meals in the fully stocked kitchen, the downstairs bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom/shower/linens were all very nice. We didn't really spend any time upstairs.
The waze app led us directly to our destination, arriving in the dark of night. We toured the Biltmore and spent a lovely day picking apples in a nearby orchard.
We would definitely recommend and hope to return soon...that is, unless my wife gets her way and finds a property to buy!

We had perfect weather for paddleboarding and kayaking, wonderful views, breathtaking sunsets on the rooftop of the boat house and cozy accommodations at the main house. The front porch was a nice place to gather. Thank you for sharing your lake house with us!

My best friend and I stayed at the cabin and enjoyed every moment of it. The boat house was awesome and so is the cabin. The flowering bridge made our day.

Great location on the lake , a small cove perfect for floating. Close to ingles.
The house was clean when we arrived.
It rained every afternoon and evening during our stay. Impossible to sit outdoors and stay dry. Great tv and Wi-Fi. Parking is kinda tight for two vehicles, difficult to turn around especially in a truck.

We had a wonderful time at this Lake Lure Cottage. The deck and the boathouse provided for amazing views and a very relaxing week. The house was perfect for the four of us. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay at this simple, adorable cabin on beautiful Lake Lure! Kitchen had everything we needed. Our 3 kids loved being able to stay in the same room together! The beds were very comfortable! Our absolute favorite was the boathouse!!! Kids had a blast using the paddle boards, kayak, canoe & floats! So thankful those items were made available!! I most definitely recommend this cabin! It's a great place to remove yourself from the world and unwind!

The owner has kayaks, a canoe, paddle boards, life vests, etc…..everything you could hope for to enjoy the lake. The home was perfect size for what we needed. I do want to note that we have Verizon and could not get cell reception and there isn’t a phone in the home/cottage. We were fine with that, but wanted to let others know. The grocery store was maybe 10 minutes away. The downtown area was fun to walk. We will be back to visit again and highly recommend this place.

Great time at a beautiful location
The location is beautiful. The boat house is amazing. Kids and I played all day either fishing, swimming or on the paddle boards/canoe/kayak. Fishing didn’t have great results in that area. The AC wasn’t working the first day we got there and we had to stay somewhere else overnight so we could sleep, but the owner had an AC guy there the next day who fixed it and she was willing to refund that nights stay. Overall we had a great time.
