We were welcomed in WhatsUp prior to arriving, with instructions, answers to all of the questions, and detailed information on how to get the keys. The owner also met us and showed around the flat, and shared few useful tips on where to find a shop and the best gelatto place. We stayed in a 45 sq.m. two level apartment. It was perfect for a family of four with kids of 5 and 8 years old. The flat is freshly renovated, very well equipped, has a modern conditioning system and it had everything we needed for a 6 nights stay. Super clean, and also the cleaning service was provided after 3 nights of staying. We enjoyed the balcony, used a washing machine. The flat even had a lunch boxes, which was super handy to grab fruit for the beach. The flat is a bit further away from the most busies streets with restaurants and reach night life, which was perfect with smaller kids. There is a food store just next door, we could get everything needed from there. We could always find a free parking spot on the same street.
It was a surprise for us to discover that the majority of the beach area is not free. There are few public beaches, the closest free one was supposed to be 500m away, but this year it was closed for the renovation. So, the closest free beach was 15 minutes walk from the apartment. We used a payed beaches few times (one simpler one for 20€ for an umbrella, two beach beds and a chair), and for the last day we took a more expensive one for 50€ to celebrate the end of the holiday. So, it's an extra expense if you are heading to Marina di Carrara for the sun holiday. A small nice addition would be a beach towel in the flat (I has such service in Viareggio and it was very handy), and perhaps some sand toys for the kids, since there is no point for every new family to purchase them.

Appartment was very beautiful and extremely clean, with everything you might need during your holiday. Kitchen was also well equipped.

I could always manage to find a free parking space nearby.
