Lovely location amongst the wildlife. Great cabin arrangement with communal cooking facilities. The host (Hugh) was fantastic…very knowledgeable and great with our 4 year-old son. As always, just wished we had time to stay longer and explore!
Our cabin was a little small and not much room for luggage.

Super mooie locatie en alles heel schoon, nieuw en comfortabel.
Voor ons geen probleem, maar de badkamer van onze kamer was iets verderop, klein stukje lopen. Nogmaals: voor ons zeker geen probleem maar wellicht dat anderen daar over vallen.

We booked for 3 nights, but unfortunately the cyclone struck and it rains very heavily with strong winds the whole first night. The next morning the owner offered us a refund for the 2 nights, because the cyclone would be hanging around for the next week. We took the offer that was a very nice and generous gesture of the owner. So we moved to Hamilton instead and on the way we had some flooded roads already. Who knows how it would look when we stayed the whole 3 days, probably we could not go out!! Thanks again to the owner.

We were in a cabin beside the road. The road was fairly quiet because of the weather but would be noisy otherwise. Did not get the kit here requested.

Great Kiwi feel, surrounded by the gorgeous native plants and birds. Hugh was a stellar host, who we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with. He had amazing suggestions for our stay and travel that we continued going to even after checking out. All his recommendations were excellent and he went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay. We will definitely be back!

I love the rooms being set in the trees. Heating and bathroom great. It was amazing how all the facilities fit into such a small space. Hugh was a great host and my sister kept getting lost with her poor sense of direction so he helped her move to a more suitable hut. Loved the touch of local flora in the huts. Great bird song. Directly across from Driving Creek Zipline and Railway. 5-minutes from Coromandel township. Will be recommending to friends.
More night lighting needed off main walkways.

The peaceful, lovely location with native trees and bush and birds doing their thing made everything perfect. it was exactly what we were looking for.

The location was right next to some of the other activities in the area, so on our second day we were able to walk straight to the driving creek railway and pottery which was down the road. Additionally the location felt tucked away thanks to the native plants and trees, despite being right next to the road. It is very true to the photos you see online (I was very skeptical until I arrived)
No major complaints, although do wish the heating had different settings as we were only able to have it on (and be way too hot) or turn it off completely (and be a bit cold).

The location is amazing the cabins are super comfortable and have a fantastic shower. The place has a fully furnished kitchen as well which is awesome. Also definitely listen to the owners did reccomendations (solo Turkish pizza and Coromandel takeaway) both were great.

Host Hugh is very friendly & gives good guidance. He looks after his customers very well.I loved his puppy Boof🐶.
Restaurants close by offers good food😊 but what I loved the most was the Mediterranean food😋
Wifi reception wasn’t good at all in our room.Other than that all provisions was excellent.

The Host is a top bloke, really relaxed and easy to deal with, and efficient.
Take plenty of mozzy repellent - but accept that you are in the bush, which is beautiful, so it'd their domain really.

We were early and so we were upgraded to a better cabin and checked in immediately.
