My stay at Haven house could have been improved. Firstly,I had to throw away food because the fridge was not cooling that well. Also I meet a cockroach in the cupboard where I had my groceries. In addition the electrical outlet at the counter in the kitchen was not working so I had to do everything on the ground which was very uncomfortable. I hope with this review things can be improved for future guest.

It was a nice room and the hosts were very nice and accommodating. A fan was provided because it gets hot at night so that was good. We also had internet.

Don't rely on the GPS coordinates provided by Booking.com, because they will lead you to an empty lot. Instead, go back down the road toward the sea, and follow the signs that say Haven House. It should be where the signs say it is. Our toilet had problems and the internet was a little spotty, but it was a good stay.

Dishonest I stayed the first night at Haven and  arranged with the Owner 1 week in advance an extra 2 nights of accomodation, we arranged the type of room, the price, and everything looked great, she even asked me not to book through booking.com, which I did. Right on the day of my check in ( she could of warned me earlier) she sent me a text telling me that the room I was supposed to have wasn't going to be available as the current guests wanted to extend the stay 4 more days. She offered me another room but she raised the price for an extra $20 usd. She basically asked me if I wanted to take the room otherwise she will give it to someone else wanting that room. This message goes to the owner.........   a deal is a deal and deals are supposed to be honoured. If I already booked that room, you must respect my booking.  You are making money by being greedy,  dishonest and dishonouring your word. The best way of making money mi friend, is by taking care of your customer, that way we will come back to you, we will recommend  you to our friends and we will write amazing reviews. Otherwise you will have another nasty review like the tons that you already have for just caring about the money but not your customers. Also, apparently she can orginize car rentals, taxis, food , etc. Reality.... she can't orginize anything, better I orginized my own car rental and my own taxi, food..... not even think about it ( $7 usd for 4 slices of banana, egg and 4 slices of bread) P.s. On my very first arrival I arranged airport pick up from Haven, surprise......the driver never showed up, I had to take a taxi from the airport ( much cheaper)

There was no hot plate in our room and we just didn't bother to ask for it. The TV remotes were not working properly and it was a fight to get it to come on. We would have preferred the room upstairs for a little more privacy but there was something wrong with the kitchen sink so we ended passing on that one. The music was too loud at times and it went on too late into the night.

The food was excellent. The host Vera was very helpful and nice. The place was beyond our expectations.

I had been to the reception a couple of times at night + the next day morning as well, but no one was at the reception. I needed a few things but I couldn't get through because I couldn't find any staff

quiet spot off of the main road. close to oistens, and the bus, always a plus
