We booked a lake villa with 2 rooms, 1x Queen and 1 x Twin single. On arrival we were given a lake villa with 2 x Queen beds and were told that our request was not available. Had we known that our 2 teenage sons would be required to share a bed we would have sourced accommodation elsewhere. Our only alternative this instance was for one of them to sleep in a single foldout bed.

The ambience and quiet and the spaciousness of the accommodation.

The place is so lovely and relaxing.

The pillows are a little bit softer for our liking.

The Villa is perfect for couples. The spa is great and the coffee pod machine with pods for every day of our stay supplied was a surprise addition.

The deck outside facing the lake was in bad need of repair as some of the wood was rotting and looked precarious to lean on. There were no front desk staff or any staff encountered throughout our 3 nights stay even though there was no need for us as everything was working (TV, WiFi kitchen appliances etc.)

Spa bath with fernery outlook, deck on to lake and fishing from the deck. Nice interior with high ceilings.

Could have potentially kept out the big spider we found on an internal door. No harm done however, to humans or spider.

Beautiful location

The location was great with beautiful views of the pond with ducks. The villa was comfortable not that we spent a great deal of time in the villa as there was so much to do and see in the area that weekend, Moama lights were unreal and definitely worth going to see.

Even though our check in and out was quick and easy it would have been nice for at least one personal contact with the owners/managers or staff, I feel a little personal face to face contact goes a long way. Maybe a couple of extra pillows would be great too.
