I stayed at apartment with my elderly mother, 3 flights of steep steps to get to apartment & myself & my mother are OAPs, not informed of steps & my mother unable to venture out until departure because of steps & im in my 60s & made few treks up steps with both our luggage. Absolutely terrible not informing people of the access to property

Nice and central

No lock on toilet door and bathroom could do with new bath etc and also be handy to have Wi-Fi in the property

The apartment is close to all the facilities. A big two bedroom apartment (may not be great for people with young children due to the stairs and no way to block them off.) Beautiful area to explore just outside. Would recommend and we will return.

Lots of cobwebs and bits that hadn't been cleaned for a while. Silver fish in the bathroom. Laundrette directly underneath that can be heard from early until late, may disturb some people.

Close to Elan Valley, and shops

We book a two bedroom apartment, didn't realise that's it's across the road and down a bit from the main hotel, Booking in was ok, but staff didn't know where the parking was( allocated space to the rear of the building, couldn't find it) but there's space further down the road, the flat was spacious, but it need a few things to be upgraded to make this place better, disappointed no hand gel/ shower gels was provided, had to buy from the co-op across the road,the bathroom has no extractor fan so the ceiling above the bath the paint is peeling and not very nice ( need to be repaired)the mattress were very bad in both rooms and should be replaced, the sofas also was very soft so maybe replace the cushions, the kitchen sink hot water tap is very loose needs fixing ( urgently), no salt/pepper, wine glasses provided, a few tweaks and this accomodation could be great

Having stayed before in the lower apartment, I knew all was well. Great roads and vistas on tap. The location was spot on. Pubs next door and appetising cheap Chinese across the road. All facilities in the apartment.

Cooker grill only half works and my double bed mattress had turned into a Rhodesian Ridgeback.

A really nice spacious flat right in the middle of town

Could have had more provisions in the apartment - eg hand soap and shower gel in the bathrooms, cloths in the kitchen etc

Check-in was shambolic.

Easy check-in, host was lovely, apartment very central, close to plenty of pubs & places to eat. Evening meal in Ty Morgan's Bistro was delicious 😋 Towels & linen provided. Lovely 2-night stay thank you!

Location was fab and don't use car the whole time . Walks were good and The Castle Carvery for Sunday lunch was superb good value for the money and lots of it . Worth a visit again. We booked to make sure we got a table

The freezer was dirty and had not been cleaned out. The toilet brush was full of feases and was unable to use!! It was appalling . Toaster had not been cleaned or emptied of crumbs from the previous stay. We did not want to use this.

Hate to say it but the accomodation needs some serious tlc .. Bed hurt us ...pillows near destroyed ..rads dont work in living room...or bedroom !! Bathroom dirty !! ..to be honest was charged £20 pound early check in fee for cleaning ..it wasnt cleaned very well .

Location for the Elan Valley and surrounding areas is good

Unfortunately the apartment wasn't the best. Poor quality single beds in the second room which are as uncomfortable as sleeping in camp beds and the mattresses in both rooms should have been replaced a long time ago. You can hear every movement, footstep and conversation from the apartment above and the apartment had cobwebs everywhere, which sadly made it feel unloved and unclean

The location is nice and staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was quite a trek from where u can park to the apartment with luggage. The decor in the apartment could do with updating and the radiator wasn't working in the living area so it was cold.
