Excellent stay

Lovely hosts, rooms and location.

The location was excellent. The breakfasts offered were awesome - good value for money. The hosts were very friendly, we were made to feel at home, including our furbaby.

Nothing to dislike

The friendliness, the cleanliness and the excellent way in which our beloved Labrador was treated. Peter and Rene are amazing people, we have arrived as complete strangers and parted as friends.

Peter and Rene were superb hosts. so kind and helpful. the accommodation had everything so well placed and was really efficient and comfortable. they have gone to lots of trouble to make sure that everything is well situated for your needs.

everything was even better than expected

There was no breakfast, despite people raving about it on the reviews.

The noise above was occasionally an issue. Footsteps and movement of furniture, sometimes fairly early. Also, whilst not a major issue, was a little inconvenient when the DSTV (Cable TV) would switch off randomly in the middle of viewing - almost as if it was controlled centrally elsewhere. A bit of a problem when you are waking up early to watch SA play a cricket test against Australia.
