Interesting building with character. Easy walk into the centre of town. Nice to have air con in the bedrooms. Borjas was easy to contact and arrange to meet to be let in. We used Jerez as a base to explore down to Cádiz and the coast, as well as Jerez itself. Even took a trip back to Seville for the Thursday flea market there. (1hr 15) Parking can be tricky. Can park outside if there is a space. Streets are very narrow. There is a parking garage about 10 min walk away near town for €9.95 for 24hrs (Calle Larga, 52).

In all honesty, the bathroom could do with a better shower facility, but it was fine and serviceable. Struggled to cater for 5 as the kitchen equipment was insufficient and too small (one medium saucepan, one fry pan and one small fry pan). Insufficient mugs and no wine glasses. Would love some small bowls for breakfast. Have mentioned all this to Borjas and he says he will address this for future visitors. Front bedrooms can be noisy as cars and people pass right below, but I have stayed in noisier! All in all, really enjoyed our stay in the property and would recommend it. Jerez is fascinating and recommend the Lustau Bodegas for a tasting tour.
