Clean and spacious air conditioned flat. Livingroom with equipped kitchen, fridge, freezer, microwave oven, ceran fields. Two sleeping rooms each with cupboard. Two bathrooms, one with tub and toilet, one with shower and toilet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved the great view of the bay of Trogir from the balcony. The close "private" shore can be reached by a small steep paved road with stairs at the end. A beach with very small stones is nearby and grants easier access for small Kids :) A playground is on the way to a small market, restaurant and the beach. We stayed one week and highly recommend Apartment Maja

nice and quiet location for us (if you ignore the planes landing nearby), could be tough for ppl without cars kids enjoyed especially the view from the balcony with the sea, boats and planes owner/manager was kind enough to prepare tge sofa for us, we booked by mistake just 2 adults instead of 2 kids and 2 adults

no cleaning and no fresh towels in our 5 days stay, quite unusual for 4 stars place sofa isn't an option for getting a good rest the splashed mosquitos on the walls just encourage ppl to do more of the same...

All was great

The view was really beautiful thanks to the location. Because we were in the out of the high season the apartment and the surrounding were calm. We were at a some beaches (Beach Stari Porat, Kava Beach, Duga Beach, Labadusa Beach, Dimitry Beach). The best of it was Labadusa.

Back to the question of the location. You may know there is an airport in Split. If you look at the runway of the airport and extend its line, you will see that the landing corridor leads right through the settlement of Okrug Donji (this part of the Ciovo island). From the balcony you could see the lights of the runway perfectly in the evening and the runway during the day. As a result, between 7 in the morning and 9 in the evening, there are quite a lot of planes landing and the noise. Of course, this doesn't bother me at the beach.

The host was very nice and helpful. The apartment has everything you need. It was clean, and the view from the big balcony is perfect. The beach is 10 minutes away on foot, it is close to the trees so there is plenty of shade during the day if you don't like to stay in the sun for too long. You can also go by car to the beach but I don't recommend that because you might have some trouble finding a parking space. There is a small shop nearby and a restaurant.

Split airport is nearby and airplanes are flying directly over the apartment producing a lot of noise. It didn't bother us but someone else might find it annoying.
