Where to begin... The food was horrible, I could barely find what to eat for breakfast and I'm not picky. There was a lot of good, but it didn't taste good. Even a la carte restraurants were dissapointing and the wait was over 1 hr even though they were not full. After that we had to wait for food for another hour after sitting down. So we started ordering room services after 2nd night. Room service food somehow tasted better We've been to so many all inclusives and it was the worst experience so far. Staff was not eager to help, had to wait for 45 min for our cappuccinos in the morning, front desk was kind of fake welcoming, room service was always behind, it's like they are understaffed and it's a small hotel. Every time we wanted to do an activity, it was unavailable or the staff was on break, as if there's only 1 person who can help us with what we were requesting It's a small property, but run very poorly If you're looking to party, the pool had dj and nightclub, but nothing like they advertised Between sunset and appx 8-9 pm the hotel goes silent, no music, and it feels sooo weird.

Our 3rd day there we woke up to water in the floor! Part the ceiling was in the floor! There was a water leak. The maintenance guy said it was from the air conditioner! mattress was like sleeping on a board!! That sewage smell that was in our room just made me sick! We tried to eat in a restaurant and couldn’t because of that sewage smell!! The food was terrible!!! We survived off hamburgers and french fries. There was no entertainment at this property!! No DJ!! not even at the pool!! they played the same music every day!!! I’m guessing it was someone’s playlist.🙁 In the evening they played electrical music! That just drove me crazy!! THIS RESORT IS VERY BORING!! If you’re looking to have fun stay away from his resort!! My husband and I have stayed at other adults only resorts and we had a great time!! The only thing good thing I can say about this resort is that it’s clean! Room type was a swim out which was nice!

The resort is nice, not over the top, but nice enough. Our room was the highlight. We upgraded to a swim out ocean front and it was beautiful.

The booze selection wasn't great. Mostly lowerend. The staff could get it for you, but it was at their discretion it seemed. All we wanted was Titos. I ended up getting sick after we returned and I can only assume it was the ice or water from brushing my teeth or the shower.

I didn’t like that the water temperature in the pools weren’t a little warmer during this time of season.

I am just back from 4 of the most amazing days. From start to finish this is an amazing resort. I have nothing negative to say. It was pure luxury and my first all inclusive stay.

The rooms were really nice especially the shower and the lighting. Also, the service at the restaurants was great although the food took too long.

No air conditioning in hallways and hardly anywhere else. The restaurants had ac but barely. There were no bars nor places to hang out with ac. The check-in process was poor. They made us wait in an outdoor reception lobby and the staff did not make us feel special at all. Also, the beach and ocean were terrible.

The bartenders were friendly and so were the servers- especially the breakfast buffet people.

Multiple things- they never informed us that the main pool would be down the entirety of our stay which definitely changed where we would have stayed. Also, the service wasn't all that great overall. There was very little to do and very little going on with the main area closed and it's very frustrating we weren't told about that or we would have booked elsewhere.

Breakfast at the spoon was good each morning. The staff were nice and helpful. The swim up bar was nice, Levi kept the drinks coming!

We have several concerns and things I didn’t like about Breathless Riviera Cancun Resort. We experienced rude staff and management during our stay. We were under the impression that we had access to 3 pools at this property but the reality is we only has access to 1 pool during our entire stay. That one pool was overcrowded everyday that you could never find a beach chair that was unoccupied. 1 pool was a complete eye sore and closed for construction and the other pool was only for Secrets Resort guests, although Secrets guest were allowed access to our ONE pool. No communication went out about the main pool closure and the resort did not compensate or accommodate us by allowing access to the Secrets Pool. We attempted to go to Secrets pool because we thought we had access to the pool and were asked to leave after being there for one hour. When asking management why this information about the pool closure was not communicated they blamed booking.com and any other travel services stating the communication should have come from them as they were notified. There were other amenities listed that were also closed and unavailable during our stay including a rooftop bar, sports bar and foam bar. We experienced multiple incidents of discrimination. On 2 different occasions and 2 different restaurants on the property men in our party were turned away at the door for not wearing long pants although they were dressed casual. While this rule was stated on certain restaurant policies the policies were not enforced for all races as there were white men in both establishments with shorts on. The same is true for being asked to exit the pool with food while other white guests were not. The property has a pest issue with raccoons. On 3 different occasions we were confronted by multiple (3) raccoons. They roamed around the property jumping in and out of trash cans looking for food. It was terrifying and very unsanitary considering they carry all kinds of diseases.
