Lovely cosy rooms, beautifully decorated. Host was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Quiet off-street location with plenty of parking and outdoor area.

A stunning house full of NZ history. the location was quiet but close to everything. Our room had its own look and was stylish in a country classic look. Lovely bathroom. Easy parking. Warm and comfortable inside.

We didn't have the facility's breakfast. The location was handy as it was not far from my sister's house. The only small quibble I would have that the internal mat just inside the front door had slight a curl up so it was a bit of a tripping hazard when walking from room to room. This was remedied by turning the mat around. My apologies for my delay in replying. Regards, Alison Mudgway

Only the pullout sofa. It had a bump and hollow where my hip went when sleeping. Maybe something like an exercise mat placed on top would have made a difference but I'm not grumbling as the cottage was very good value for 4 Adults. Many thanks for the camp bed for the second night.

Lovely stay, our hosts were great, recommend this to everybody. Well appointed room and comfortable bed. Kitchen facilities really excellent. location was really peaceful despite initial impressions of being on a busy road. Cambridge is a lovely town, easily walkable from here.

The fridge was not working very well.

The room was spacious and quiet. It was also nice to have a little kitchen were you could get plates and make tea/coffee if you wanted.

Bigger fridge in room.

The property was an old/historic style home, true to the photo's provided and this appealed to us. The garden is striking and it is a pity it was raining during our stay as we would have liked to explore. Hilary was there to greet us and show us our room, located at the front of the property. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was modern and large. The accommodation was all clean and fresh and well presented, with amenities available for the basics, such as coffee and tea etc. for anything more, there is a 'kitchen' available for use which is detached from the property...and it is well equiped, thank you. Even though it is located outside the CBD of Cantebury, on a fine day it would not be too far to walk to town and there is also a small group of shops not too far in the other direction from the property.

Our stay was all good...thank you for the comfortable surrounds and pleasant greeting. It may have been the weather (cyclone Gabrielle) but the wifi signal was not terribly strong, and kept dropping out...which in normal circumstances would not have bothered us, except due to the cyclone our flights had been severely disrupted and took a great deal of time and emailing with our travel agent to reschedule etc...so good comms were important to us during this time.
