The booking.com site states free parking with this hotel..- it wasn't free it was at the train station & costs£10 for 24 hrs! When brought to the managers attention the young manager had bad attitude,no customer service skills was rude & said he cldnt help & wldnt even give his name,..my 2nd night cost more than my first night & I cldnt cancel the night before to get a refund, I didn't want to stay the 2nd night so lost all my money & paid extra for parking!

I luv the location garden and rooms clean and linen great cud go with lick of paint few large dinks out of the walls but shower great and coffee tea etc great
We ordered food downstairs and asked for it in takeaway containers it was vile awful and I’m not at all fussy but the burgers were inedible burnt hard cheap disgusting my hubby had to go out into town buy two pot noodles and we put out chips in it as they were freezing!!! Waste totally of £25, breakfast the next morning equally as tragic Luke warm snotty eggs vile sausage cheap bacon no toast a shambles!!! It was packed no one have a toss

Room was large so space for children. Bathroom was modern & clean.
Breakfast & dinner was good value & child friendly
Difficult carrying things from car park to hotel with young children.
Staff member opened up windows whilst we were eating breakfast which put us in a draught. We had chosen to eat indoors because of cool external temperature

Hotel was beautiful. Rooms are very nice, not what i expected at all, was plesantly surprised. Great location for all shops and 2 min walk to seafront.
They could do with more staff in the actual pub during busy times as waited long to get served and got my food order wrong.

Being taken for a mug. When staying 1 Extra Night. Lots of Young men outside at night in the High St Begging. Very Intimidating. Not good

The services were excellent! We appreciated that there was an iron in the room and loved the tea making facilities

Lovely room, great location, friendly staff, reasonable prices in the bar. Very comfortable beds.
My room key didn't work so I had to keep buzzing for staff to let me in. Very inconvenient to be waiting around for someone to let me in for my whole stay.. I kept being told the key was being sorted!!

Room was spacious and tastefully decorated, bathroom was rather luxurious with walk in shower and bath .
The fire doors in the corridors slam shut shaking the whole building if left to close on their own so was woken up quite a lot due to smokers in and out and the night manager was wandering about in the small hours allowing them to slam which is unacceptable really being a member of staff and should be aware of this

Convenient 15 minute walk to Cliffs Pavilion. Nice big room with comfortable bed. Good to have separate entrance to room so no need to go through the busy pub in the evening.

excellent location just couple of minutes from railway station. fabulous bathroom with bath and shower. what really surprised me was an oat milk for tea/coffee. love that.
not recommended for disabilities or walking difficulties as you can get to your room only via stairs.
