The kitchen is very nice. Having washing machine and dryer combo was great.
The toilet was clean but a bit dark (not enough light) and a bit old.

To me you can be on the best location on earth, but if your host doesnt fix the problem on the grounds that he would loss the booking, I dont care where apartment is located. This was a rather noisy apartment on a main road, when I called host requesting allowing me leave the apartment and get a refund because I couldnt sleep for the noise and he replies that this is not an option on hte grounds of not being able to book the place again, to me that is not right. I spent there 3 awful nights, hardly sleep because the street noise. I have used booking for the last 20 years 5 to 10 times a year, never had to go through this wiht a host. Awful experience.

Excellent location. Good communication from owners. Spacious rooms. Furnished kitchen. They added high chair and baby utensils for our little one, very thoughtful.
Would be nice if the appliances had instructions in the guest info book, i.e. a 1-pager on how to get going with basics in under 5 minutes. For example, I'm still not sure how we turned the lock off on the laundry machine.
Also, it would have been nice for the coffee and tea to restock, but I understand it's not part of the managed apartment service.

Great studio apartment, highly recommended!! beds were super comfy, there is a small kitchen with washer/drier which turned out to be very useful! We had a wonderful stay for two mothers and two daughters. Super close to both DLR and tube stations. Very good VFM. Would definitely come again!!

The location of this property was excellent. It was very conveniently located close to bus and tube stations. I was worried when I initially booked the property that it would be far from other sites in London, however it was in a perfect location to see everything. It was also quiet at night. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was beautiful, although while we were there we did not cook. The hosts were also very good about communicating directions and other information. When I had questions they got back to me very quickly
The apartment we stayed in looked like it could use a new coat of paint. But other than that is was awesome!

The location is so convenient, easy walking distance to the Tower Bridge, Tower of London, and at least two Tube stations (plus Tesco Express right around the corner). The apartment was lovely, clean, and bright inside, and the kitchen was well stocked with the basics we needed including toaster, microwave, and dishes. We were pleasantly surprised that the trash was taken out daily, as we had thought there wouldn't be service during our short 3-day stay. It was great to have the laundry machine in the kitchen. Comparing the price to nearby apartments, I think this was an excellent find and would definitely recommend to friends.
My older son, who is over 6'3" didn't feel that the pull out bed was as comfortable as he would have liked.

The location is excellent for travelers who want to visit London. Is in the center of London, we reached our visiting targets very easy by foot or by tub/metro. Host very discreet, apartment clean, comfortable, there is a Tesco market just around the corner.

Exellent location, fully equiped apartment. Renovated kitchen and bathroom. Clean. Better than we had expected. I was very pleased with the information that sent out.
The water taps in the bathroom sink was a little to short, but it was more of something that gave a smile than a problem 😄.

location is perfect and convenient, the apartment is everything you would want and exceeded our expectations especially availability of full kitchen for self catering and washing machine , the instruction was on point, the heating was good and bed is very comfortable; courtesy cot-bed was available.
I will definitely recommend this place and come back.
you can improve on the availability of sheer curtains for privacy since its located on high rise offices and busy place; and give the maid powers to be asked to change bed and wove place once for a long stay (emails are an inconvenience when you are on holiday trying to take a break from office life).

I would really appreciate if you would set about changing out the baths for walk in showers - if I were to visit with my wife we could not use the shower over bath option as she has problems with her hips.

good welcome of Andrew and his team, perfect location of the lodge, near Tower Bridge, in a silent street, good equipments in the kitchen, comfortable flat, very clean.

the heating system is a bit old and noisy, the light switch in the bathroom could be replaced

We loved evrything about the place but mainly the Tower bridge 3 or 4 blocks away as well as other landmarks, The room service was perfect just like a hotel. The lady came cleaned up the place and took the trash, My wife and daughter loved it and it's even more convincing.

Very good location, a few minutes to Tower Gate, sandwich between two tube station, Aldgate & Tower Hill. Also convenient if you prefer to hop on buses to Central London. Nearby there is a Tesco & Sainsbury for your groceries.

Good location, good facilities, great security and a host that was very responsive.

Location is great, walking distance to Tower Bridge and tube stations. Room size (studio) is quite spacious. Kitchen is equipped with all basic things to prepare simple meals. The washing machine is very beneficial for us (light travellers). Bed is comfortable. Communication with the host is very easy. Few supermarkets and Cafes around the area.
The lights can be brighter - not a big deal, only my preference.

we had issues with water supply which I guess is once-off
no leg space between towel rack and toilet commode which was an issue when towel rack got heated
could not mix hot/ cold water from 2 different taps in wash basin

I rarely write any review, but this lodge deserves one. Spacious rooms even for family with teenagers, fully equipped kitchen, clean and close to mini markets and the tube. Great value, considering London is an expensive city. Highly recommended
