This place was an absolute dream! The pictures do not do this place justice. It was very comfortable for our family of 6. The 360 views of the snowy mountains were breathtaking and the sound of the river in front of the cabin was so relaxing. We plan on coming back again during the summer!

Cabin was amazing, quiet and cozy. Great central location which was great for daily expeditions(day in Estes Park, Denver day and a day in Frisco to let the kids tube and sled). Would highly recommend.

This cabin is very dreamy. From the running creek and fire pit in the front yard to the wood stove inside, it exceeded every expectation of the entire family. We had an incredible time and no one wanted to leave. The surprise snowfall made the trip extra beautiful and special.

This property is in a perfect location. We can to Colorado for a conference in Denver and came out early to stay in the mountains and was amazing property. House had everything we needed and beautiful. Creek in front of the cabin was very relaxing and caught several brook trout on a fly rod. Only minutes from Mount Evans. Would recommend to anyone!!!

This cabin was so beautiful. We stayed here to attend a family wedding at Blackstone Ranch. The location was perfect. The cabin was very clean and stocked with all the things we needed.
The beautiful creek in front was something we enjoyed sitting by and listening to each day. The property was serene. We had a family of deer vist each day.
The pictures don't do it justice!

The property was actually better than we expected. Large, nicely decorated rooms, excellent location for sight-seeing, shopping, Red Rocks. Beautiful site with a really fun hiking trail up the mountain directly behind the property, and a lovely stream in front, which we enjoyed from the Adirondack chairs provided. Everything was well-thought out and functional. Instructions were clear. The four of us were very pleased, and we had a great time.

Very nice place, but still kind of close to town if you need to go in to get something, great views and sitting by the creek is very relaxing.

Beautiful State Of The Art Cabin !
Had Everything We could have ever needed
We enjoyed sitting near the roaring creek with views of the Mountains
Saw 3 beautiful Deer on the property out of the window as we sat at the beautiful rustic log table enjoying our breakfast one morning! The blinds were open and the deer looked in at us They were just as curios about us as we were of them! Very Exciting! We also saw adorable chipmunks from the back porch!
We look forward to returning ! It’s a nature lovers Paradise!

We had an awesome 3 night stay in the cabin. This cabin was on our bucket list, after seeing it a few years ago online. I can honestly say that in 20+ Colorado trips, this was by far my favorite place to stay! The cabin itself is beautiful! The creek, yard, and trails behind the cabin, make it a spot you won’t want to leave! We will be back!!!

We rented this cabin for a trip to a concert at Red Rocks. The location was perfect! It was close enough to the venue, but private and in the mountains. The place is gorgeous!! My favorite thing was coffee by the river each morning. The cabin was beautiful and bigger than expected. Everything was very clean, well stocked and Randy was helpful and easy to get a hold of. We will definitely be back!

As soon we drove across the bridge to park we all got excited to see such a lovely log cabin nestled along side Chicago Creek! We loved everything about the Cabin…the decor, the layout, location AND the comfortable furniture and beds!! The kitchen was fully stocked with whatever we needed to prep meals. My daughter and her husband joined myself and my husband for our three night stay and we explored Idaho Springs as well as Mount Evans. But, our favorite things to do was hang out at the Cabin❣️ We enjoyed watching the resident Hummingbirds at the feeder and listening to the sound of the rushing creek water…Thank you for opening up your beautiful home so others can enjoy it!

The front porch and fire pit area in front of the house face the road. However, it is not a busy road so this isn't an issue. The back porch is nice and faces a mountain wall so don't expect breathing taking views of the mountains. It is just a short drive into town and through town to the hot springs.
The cabin is decorated in the typical Colorado mountain home motif making it charming. However, it is in serious need of a good cleaning. There were cobwebs everywhere and the interior log walls had a layer of dust on them. The rug in the living room area had dirt all around the edges...it was clear it hadn't been vacuumed at least since the last visitors, I would venture to guess by the amount of dirt along the edges of the rug that it hadn't been vacuumed for even a longer period of time. Unfortunately, one of our guests became emergently ill and we had to leave shortly after our arrival...before we even got to try out the appliances or beds. We would definitely consider this location again provided they do a deep clean first.

My family of 4 booked the cabin for a spring break getaway, and it was absolutely perfect for us. There was plenty of space, and an entire bedroom we did not use. The cabin was very well stocked and a short drive to downtown Idaho Springs, as well as short drives to surrounding cities - Georgetown, Winter Park, Dillon and Denver. My boys loved playing in the snow surrounding the cabin, as well as playing by the creek. Amazing stay and would highly recommend.

Cabin was nestled in the mountain with a bubbly river flowing in front. Everything was clean and organized. The real fireplace was cozy. The location was perfect for going to Idaho Springs, Echo Lake , St Mary’s, Clear Creek. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful place! Such a comfortable place and homey.

The setting of the house is so cool, across its own little bridge and beside the stream. With everything snow covered it was even cooler. The drive was plowed when we got some snow which was really nice. The location in relation to the mountains is perfect! About an hour from several world class ski resorts makes it an ideal base to chase snow from.

Beautiful home, easy access just off the very low traffic highway. Nice little hiking trail right at the back deck. We had everything we needed and plenty of firewood for a nice little fire in the stove each evening. Our first night we had a red fox visit us on the back deck. Our second time renting here, it won't be the last.

this cabin was so cozy and had absolutely everything you could need. Including most all spices, pancake mix, syrups, etc. All the lighting was labeled and TV worked
great. No cell service but Wifi was perfect

We had such a great time here! We used the sled in the back, grilled food to eat by the stream, played games by the wood burning stove, and enjoyed the home itself as a whole! It was in a perfect location for us to go to the ski area, and the town of Idaho Springs was so nice!

We booked this for our family of 4 for the holidays & I can’t wait to book it again we fell in love with this cabin and the land it’s on. Secluded but also close enough to town . It was perfect! It was completely stocked with literally everything you would need I was very impressed. These owners know how to make a vacation relaxing & comfortable. We will definitely be back

You can scour the reviews on this property, they are amazing. You can comb over the pictures and wonder if they’re accurate. When something seems too good to be true, it usually is. But not in this case. Everything about this listing is better than you can imagine. Don’t hesitate! We will be back.

We had such a wonderful time. The owner was very responsive to any need or issue we had. It’s a beautiful property with idyllic scenery. There’s so much to do nearby and also lovely to stay indoors with a cozy fire. We had 7 people and everyone slept comfortably. It was snowing as we arrived but the drive way was already plowed and the porch had been shoveled. The heater in the cabin works very well!! We will definitely try to stay here again.

We had an amazing short mini getway in this gorgeous cabin! Pictures don't do justice! The creek really is so beautiful and peaceful. We went at the end of March to celebrate my husband's 34th birthday. Our kiddos had a fantastic time playing by the little creek ages 3, 6, and 9. The only down part was having to do so much of the cleaning like take off sheets and putting them to wash and sweep along with a few other things. I understand this is part of being able to turn the cabin around for the next guest, I just like to get away from the daily cleaning I have to do at home. It wasn't a big deal but for anyway else that is like me, that way it won't take you by surprise. This is a hidden little gem so close to Denver and Loveland if you want to add some snowboarding or skiing!!

My husband and I went for a short vacay to celebrate our Anniversary. The house was amazing! Super cozy & very clean! You’re just a short drive into Idaho Springs (super cute town) but you feel like you’re out in the wilderness. Very private. We hiked behind the cabin & up the mountain on the Chicago Lake trails. We shopped in town & you HAVE to stop into the Soap Shop, most amazing smelling sprays, lotions & soaps! We ate at Mountain Prime & Beau jo’s pizza. Both were fabulous! We had coffee at, I believe its called, The Froth Cup. Absolutely amazing! Overall, we had a fabulous time & just absolutely loved the cabin! 10/10 highly recommend!
