Excellent breakfast, clean comfy room, very friendly and helpful staff. We travelled by bicycle and they provided a secure garage for our bikes.

The hotel was closed. I could not make access. I was left walking around in the heavy rain with all my luggage trying to find somewhere else to stay. They had my Co tact details but didn’t bother calling me.

beautiful, charming, exceptionally welcoming staff (I arrived at noon and could already go to my room; when I came back to the hotel, the restaurant was about to close, but urged me to stay, and the cook served an excellent local dish for me as their lonely last customer)

Location right in downtown, typical Fachwerkhaus in the Schwarzwald, good restaurant and breakfast.

You can reach the main square in a few steps.
The view from the window is breathtaking. You can indeed enjoy a "black forest - experience"

We found getting to the hotel difficult as I hadn't realised it was in a Pedestrian area with only limited parking. Lucky for us there was a parking space. The hotel restaurant was very busy when we arrived but there was no problem getting a table. Good selection of local dishes. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was a good size.

A nice hotel established in a timber framed German house. Centrally located in Calw
The breakfast cost 10 EUR and is not worth it, as there are plenty of cafes nearby.

The location was good as far as access to the town. The rooms were clean and exactly as described.
The language was a little tricky as I don't have any german. That is on me though and we did check in while they were very busy with the dinner service. We were not able to park on site but were directed to a parking garage which was easy.

Perfect location, efficient after hours checkin with key drop, comfy bed and room.
They don't put on the central heating before you get your room, so you'll have to crank up the heaters and give it a moment. Also that shower curtain doesn't work haha.

Antique buildings always have uneven floors so just be aware if you have vision or balance issues.
Superb location in Calw. Parking is off site in the Markt Garage.

The civic garbage collectors, early in the morning, were extremely noisy.

In the city center, very well located
Wonderful people, the dinner was very good and also the breakfast.
They speak little English but they tried
To hot 30 °( no air conditioned), to noisy ( Saturday night with music in front), no black curtains. So the sun rises at 6.00 and we can no longer sleep.
