I had my reservations booking here, but we needed something cheap and cheerful to stay after a wedding before heading home. I was pleasantly surprised as the room was really big, nicely decorated, clean, had all the facilities you need, and I couldn't hear noise from the pub downstairs. Staff were really helpful and we had a great stay!

I was in one of the attic rooms - cosy, clean and nicely decorated. Had everything that I needed. The room was quiet.
The pillows were a bit lumpy.
I also couldn't turn the English subtitles off the TV (when watching English programmes) which was a bit odd.

The breakfast all in all very good, unfortunately the breakfast that my wife had on our last morning not so good she had scrambled egg on toast and beans, tasteless eggs and beans gave her an upset stomach, my breakfast very good.

I have said her multiple times as we have an office locally, I like the location, nice Cafe Nero across the way, and everything is within walking distance, have not been disappointed, comfy bed, great shower, no complaints.

Super-helpful reception staff. Was good to have the reception separate to the pub. Room was nicely decorated and bed comfy. Location was fantastic - right on the high street. Lovely city.

The rooms and restaurant were fab.
We knew there was no parking which wasnt an issue for us but struggled to find the parking that was a 2 min walk away, took a few times driving around a one way system 🤣 once we got the postcode from the receptionist we found the multistory parking on the sat nav.

Handy location for what we required. Room great but not sure for young families as it's a pub
No onsite parking but multi storey close by and cost about 8 pound for 24 hrs

Spacious, comfortable room with well thought-out furniture and decor with musical theme. Wonderful bathroom. Plenty of water, hot chocolate, tea, coffee and biscuits provided. Helpful staff.

The staff were very good and fixed a problem we had with our room. Room was modern and functional. Good price for 3 night's stay and convenient city centre location.
Facilities are basic - no parking available at the hotel . The hotel is small and narrow located down an alley opposite the Wetherspoons pub. Bed was hard and not particularly comfortable and air con malfunctioned on our second night and was stuck at 30 degrees centigrade which made for an uncomfortable night.
