We were well looked after by Rosa, and loved the hill-top town of Caltagirone.

Location was perfect to visit the town centre. The apartment was spotless , a good size and nicely appointed . The roof top terrace was splendid and our host ,Rosa , was charming
Parking might be problematic , although it wasn’t for us, because you are relying on street parking.

Fantastic range of fresh pastries, some made by Rosa, fruit and hot drinks. Rosa was ready to serve breakfast at any time that suited us. The dining room was lovely and airy next to the terrace.

Exceptional! Freshly refurbished, spotless clean and very well equipped apartment right in the heart of Caltagirone, only a couple hundred metres from the Scala di Santa Maria del Monte. The landlady is lovely and most helpful. The cherry on the cake is the terrace overlooking the roofs of the old town!
We loved everything about this accommodation! The only thing travellers have to consider is the 87 steps to reach the apartment, which was no problem at all for us but might be challenging or uncomfortable for travellers with very heavy luggage or mobility restrictions.
