Beautiful house and only a short distance to many destinations
The doors and and locks were a bit stiff. We got stuck a few times.

Not much. The apartment is close to the beach, but there is no sea view and the beach itself is one of the least appealing around
For starters, the host didn't even show up at our arrival (around 5PM, so not an ungodly hour) but left the door open and the key on the kitchen table. The beds are uncomfortable, especially the sofa beds. One of them had a very thin layer of foam as a mattress and a crooked frame (pictured), while the other had a just slightly better (mattress (at least it had a sleeve around it) but a deformed frame. The folding bed we found in the wardrobe where our second son had to sleep (the sofa bed is not wide enough for two teenagers) wouldn't open properly so the bed was not flat. The WiFi was not working, we had to call the host and ask for it to be checked (we had to insist that the network was not showing up when he kept repeating "It's the one showing up on top"). When the WiFi got back up he didn't even bother sending me a text to let me know.
We only had one set of additional bedsheets (assumingly because the sofa bed had to be used by both our kids) and there only was a single roll of toilet paper in the bathroom (the booking was for 4 people and 4 days). There was no hairdryer and there only were 4 bathroom towels. The apartment was not really clean, the apartment smelled like a place that had been closed for weeks and we even found an opened bottle of milk in the fridge.

Garryvoe is a gorgeous spot, so many excellent dining & leisure options nearby !
Loved that it was pet friendly!!
The owners learned we were on a mini-moon and left us a bottle of Prosecco !
There wasn’t any toiletries or hair dryer available.

spotlessly clean, less than a minute’s walk to beach. Very dog friendly. Owner really helpful & provided lot of info on local recommendations. I left my glasses there and he posted them to me in a couple of days without any hassle at all. Would stay definitely stay again.

What a great place to stay - close to the beach and with easy parking. There were lots of cafes, pubs and restaurants close by serving delicious food. The apartment was very clean, warm and cosy and well equipped. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful.

pricey for what it was. very strict about 4pm check in although property appeared to be ready earlier and 10am checkout very early! Also ridiculous that we had to strip the bed and empty the bins given the price of our stay

Location and layout of property was very good. We emailed the morning of arrival and were were able to access the property early as we have a baby and we really appreciated that!

The apartment was clean and comfortable, perfect for two people, the fact that it is located just across the road from the beach was exactly what we were looking forward to.Easy access to keys to the property and a quick and helpful explanation of heating, refuse and water system was helpful.

Great location, lovely big beach very near. House very cosy, heated up quickly, loads of hot water. Comfy beds and nice towels. Rooms were very spacious. Very clean. Great enclosed garden for dog.
There was only bare minimum of cutlery and bowls, had to wash up after each meal rather than run the dishwasher. Ensuite window didn't close and another had a draft but that was in the hall so didn't affect room temperature. No bin bags, salt, pepper, or cooking oil provided. We've always had those basics provided in previous house rentals. TV cut out every few minutes for a few seconds, annoying when trying to catch the news!

It was a light and airy apartment with plenty of space. It was in a great location and the email before we checked in gave us lots of information about what to see and where to eat. The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and Delph.
The ensuite bathroom window was broken and did not close properly. One of the nights we stayed was stormy and there was a gale blowing in the window.
The bedroom with the single beds and bunk beds was much colder than the rest of the apartment.
There was no hand soap for any of the sinks which is not ideal during a pandemic.

Very clean and the host was terrific. We made contact on arrival and he provided clear instructions on the hot water and heater. Very well organized!

Every room was large and spacious. Host was lovely. The beds were very comfortable. Whole stay was great
The only issue I had was that the top of the stairs down to the garden were a bit mossy and with the heavy rain it got quite slippy.

The property was good, it had a good supply of utilities. Decor was nice and it was near the beach. Very spacious and good supply of crockery etc. Good heating for heat and hot water. The host was very accommodating and gave us good information.
The sofa was really uncomfortable. We were instructed to strip the bedding before we left, bad decision!! No pillow protectors and duvets were stained. No instructions for the washing machine or dishwasher, wanted to do a wash but gave up! Could have had more little touches of comfort., more dish cloths, a scrubbing brush etc would have made it easier to wash up etc. We were told that we could facilitate of the facilities in the hotel for a fee but on enquiry were told we could not.

It was a little expensive. But I understand that this is a place that could sleep up to 8 or 9. We were a family of 5.
Liked the space. Liked how close it was to beach, hotel. Would recommend

The beach is literally 1 min walk and it's so peaceful and queit . The house was perfect couldn't ask for anything more. Des who checked us in was lovely
The only thing is that wr couldn't walk anywhere to get a drink as we had our dog with us, there is a hotel but they didn't offer out door seating

The place was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Wifi was excellent.
Seating extremely uncomfortable. Fridge door didn't close properly so we put all perishables on table top fridge which turned out to be a freezer. No note to say it was a freezer. We were tired frm travelling. Hotel only accepted residents. So no food or coffee in hotel. Use of hotel leisure centre gives impression of access to hotel. The shop was closed. Only outside seating was beside an oil tank. Nobody came to greet us. Nobody checked on us to see if we were ok. No change of towels in five days. Lack of channels on TV and no external connection.

The was a tiny bit of washing up liquid and 1.5 rolls of toilet paper, seemed a bit stingy for the price of €320 pn
