Nathaniel authentically and lovingly created a little Japan in this most unlikely setting. An absolute must for those with an affinity for beauty, sophistication and a penchant for the unusual!!! The town of Thiers in itself is a wonderful offering for the photographer, painter and poet.... don't miss these gifts!!!

Excellent breakfast with a lot of self-made pastries. Unique decor: the whole house is kept in (what I assume to be) traditional Japonese style.

You have to be open to go with the host's flair for the Japanese lifestyle. Which can be very enjoyable. But be prepared to take your shoes off in front of the house and not disturb the Zen garden at all.

Exceptional attention to detail with a genuine Japanese ambience. Unusual setting by a rushing river which added to the vibrancy of the place. Delightful breakfast, perfectly presented.

My back aches from a previous bed so low living wasn’t too good for me that night but normally, it would have been fine.
