Rooms are spacious and clean

Good value
Room was freezing cold and didn't go with breakfast this time as quoted £36 for 2 adults and a child, which seemed over the top, especially when it wasn't that great the last time we stayed a few months ago

Room was clean and comfortable and fit 2 adults and 2 children with room to move around still
Our bathroom door handle would stick meaning if either of the children closed the door we had to let them out as you really had to push down to open. On our second night we were a bit chilly but the heating in the room didn't give off hardly any heat at all so we just layered up. And lastly we could of done with a second card because if one adult nipped out to the car etc...the rest of us were plunged in to silence and darkness as they needed the card to get back in to the building.

Litter in the car park , under bushes and on grassy areas, clearly some of it had been there a long time, senior management either don’t care or don’t visit often enough

The bed moved, it was on wheels and as soon as you laid on the bed, it moved!!!

The bed was comfy and the room was tidy and clean when arrived the staff were so helpful and polite and the food was lovely A+
The only downside for me is location does not have much of a view apart from the coastline in the distance, but a very small trade-off for the property itself

Good room quiet location, clean and tidy. Staff warm and friendly. Excellent breakfast, no problems at all. We,ve used the Red Squirrel before and will do again. Thank you for a brilliant stay.

the receptionist at the bar was very unpleasant, i booked in at a later time, and it was obvious a hassle for her, this was done through Booking.com and I arrived about 10.pm. on the app it said I could check in anytime up until 11pm. if they don’t want to take late bookings they should specify this!
I hate complaining I really do! but we won’t be back here.

A good location
The accommodation was separate to the restaurant /bar so likely to get wet if raining when walking between the two.
It is a short distance though
There is ample car park space at the location and if raining heavily it is ok to drive and park at both locations
