Had everything you need, but could do with a bit more comfort in living room, ie a new soft sofa

Traffic noise, needed earplugs at night to sleep

It was very convenient for the train and bus and very convenient to all the supermarket's it was close to restaurants we have been coming to Tavira for a few years, this apartment is ideal for a family and the price is good.

There was nothing to dislike I spoke to the owner who was very helpful and knowledgeable her friend next door helpful with air con and the t v all good.

Location was great, very walkable. Wonderful for a family of 5 with the 3 bunk beds. The terrace was amazing.

Road noise was a bit much at first but we got used to it.

Everything about the apartment was great. It had everything we needed, plenty of space, the bed was comfortable and the roof terrace made our holiday. An easy 10 minute walk into town also. Contact with the host Airinda via WhatsApp for the whole time we were there left us feeling very reassured.

The spiral staircase to the roof terrace can be a bit scary if you don't like heights, especially coming down but you quickly get used to it.

Just back from a wonderful week in this apartment. It has everything you need, and more, and is only a 10 min walk into town. Lovely views from the front balcony and the terrace and there was always somewhere to sit and get some shade if needed.

The spiral staircase is a bit steep but so long as you learn to not look down, it’s not a problem.

On arrival,we went to get the keys from the box,no problem A woman came to the door,after we unlocked it,shouting for us to be quite,we should have respect because her children were sleeping and its a family run business Why she couldn't open the door and welcome us,is beyond me,we arrived about 10pm,to some crazy women,even our taxi man was shocked with the woman's attitude I could understand if we were young,but no we are 57,58 and 61

Location is excellent, close to shops, bars and the town centre. It has two great balconies and a superb roof terrace. The apartment has everything you need and more. It's a real home from home.

Traffic noise in the bedrooms is a bit annoying as the apartment is on a busy road. However, after a couple of nights you get used to it. So it wasn't too much of a problem. The key to the apartment didn't work as someone had left the wrong key. There was a problem contacting the owners as the phone number on the Booking.com confirmation did not work - just got a recorded message in Portuguese, I think. So, we went to Taska Madeira restaurant and asked for some help. A very helpful lady there was able to help and we eventually got a call back from the apartment owners, who sent the cleaner to the apartment to let us in. The owners also replied by text and were very apologetic regarding the problem.

Clean and spacious and many condiments so easy and ready to cook

Shower was leaking from the head. Neighbours are very noisy

Superb apartment, close to town. Large rooms with balconies on either side of the building plus a massive, sunny roof terrace.

Traffic noise - but ear plugs solved the problem. Also the spiral staircase to the roof terrace is a bit scary - best to avoid if you've hade a bit too much to drink!

Lovely spacious apartment and very well equipped. The balconies and roof terrace were a great bonus for relaxing and outdoor dining.

Perfect location to walk easily into the centre but also to get onto the main roads for exploring further afield.

Amazing apartment. So large it took a while to get orientated. It has a balcony and a rooftop terrace. And a washing machine, with drying rack outside. It is one of those place where the owners have clearly thought carefully about what will make an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Lightning wifi. I did not see the hosts (you get the key from a box with a code) but there is excellent communication with them by WhatsApp and they are easily contactable if you need to. The train station and supermarket are close by.
