This was the best hotel I've stayed in recently! Everything was so cozy, clean, tidy! The girls, who work at the reception and the restaurant have been quite helpful and super kind! The breakfast choice was more than enough, they offered almost everything you would need! Great location, although the parking lot was a bit further away, but still convenient enough, taking it is so hard to find a parking spot in Sozopol. Highly recommend this place and would definitely book again for next year!

Very good hotel close to the beach. We have stayed there for third time and always got the same room in accordance with our request. The swimming pool is perfect with sunbeds, umbrellas, and not crowded. Breakfast was excellent every morning. Very comfortable and clean. We will surely return.
Parking is not permitted in the street, the hotel has a parking lot cca. 200 meters from the entrance, which could be considered a bit far. City center and old town are also bit far. We did not have problem with these distances, but if you cannot walk a lot, it makes sense to consider.

Second time at this wonderful place! Amazing breakfast, great variety and fresh! This family hotel makes me feel HOME! I would like to thank all staff for excellent service. They are all caring and helpful! Furthermore, rooms are well equipped and VERY CLEAN! Daily cleaning, fresh sheets and soft towels! Used the pool once, well maintained with very pretty green area and flowers! I felt at home at this place and the staff was always smiling and very kind! The location of the hotel is great because it it far from all the noise, and I was really able to enjoy my vacation! I will be back at my favorite spot in Sozopol!!!

The staff is very kind, they try to switch up the breakfast every day and overall the property looks nice and is close to a more private beach rather then the big one.
the cleaning of the rooms was a bit strange for me. They just refilled the toilet paper most of the days, but otherwise nothing was done in the room. Also, there was a weird smell coming from the bathroom, so the air purifier as well as the ventilation had to be switched on pretty much all the time. For some people this can be too noisy during the night.

The people from the hotel service were really pleasant, always with a smile on their face. The hotel was new, and clean, the pool are very nice and comfortable.

The location is great, the staff is very helpful and the hotel is clean and quiet. I really liked that the room had not only an AC, but air purifier and dehumidifier as well.

Staff, cleaniless (everyday they clean-up the floor, in room and bathroom, once at 2-3 days they change the towels and sheets), the view (located next to the sea).
I ask/want a double bed in my room but i found two twin beds who are made to be as one double bed and they slide easily on the floor. In this way, you are good chances to fall in the space between them :|.
The room with the garden view is a little bit small for my taste and the family room have view on the main road and is a little noisy.

Melia Mar is a nice clean hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast is very good and although it might seem similar every morning, there is always an additional dish prepared for diversity.
Also, for those who want to have a market close by, Lidl is only 250 m away.
If you want to be close to the city center, not sure if it’s the best option. You need to walk around 20’ to get to the restaurants, the cliff, the stores and the jamming from city center.
But if you want a quite, clean and nice place, this hotel should be on your options list.
I reserved one of the ground floor room, facing the sea shore. I wouldn’t exactly recommend those because of high humidity in the air. Even thought the problem is easily managed by an air humidifier provided by the hotel so you can still choose these rooms if you don’t get easily disturbed by the noise during sleeping hours.
