Amazing bungalow. The friendly owner Bao welcomed us on arrival on this cosy bungalow, very spacious with ensuite toilet and a space outside to relax with a hammock included. Very quiet space where you can only hear the sounds of the forest. Coming from the crowded Ao Nang, Koh Yao Noi was a blow of fresh air and a proper tropical island to relax. Located right next to one of the main roads of the island and a 5-10 minute walk to the pier that connects to the mainland in Tha Len
Nothing to fault. Just bear in mind if you are coming to/from Ao Nang or Phuket boats are from a different pier on the south of the island, you'd need to arrange some transport to get there.

Sehr geräumige Bungalows mit Holzboden, großem Bett, Moskitonetz, Standfan, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Kaffee. Schattige Terrasse mit Hängematte. Freundlicher Betreiber.

On the right side of the island near some fine beaches.
A little tucked away in the forest this totally unassuming group of bungalows. The owner is a wonderful man. He will show up when you need him but is otherwise not imposing.
The bungalows are somewhat rustic, and not at all or for you when you are into luxury and flashiness.
Very basic and honest place.
Price/quality is unparalleled. Some of the bungalows are not in use anymore so it gives the place a somewhat forlorn atmosphere, which we loved.
You really have the idea that you are lost at the end of the world. The feel of tourism in the 50s.

Everything was great ! Koh Yao Noi is a true paradise. And Namtok Bungalows have all the necessary things. The beds are comfortable. The mosquito net is there. Windows are everywhere so a good light.. We got the AC room and it was working well. And the shower has cold and hot water. The terrace of the bungalow is very nice to chill in the evening and in the morning. Bao is an amazing person. Very much understanding of your needs. If something is not working he comes immediately and takes care of it. We did rent from Bao a scooter for 7 days. It was working well. We went to all places. And also we did a boat tour with the help of Bao. I would definitely go back there if I had a chance. Thank you Bao!
The only negative point is that there is no breakfast and for the price we paid the breakfast should have been included.

Very nice owner, great place, love the balcony with the hammock. Scooter wase great price and condition for rental. Wood stay their again!
The floor hase a lot of space inbetween the wood so bugs can get it (i only had little salamanders) you have a mosquito net so that perfect.

The location was quite fun - in amongst lots of flowers and nature. We could hear a buffalo(?) during thr night, aswell as all the cicadas. It was lovely to hear nature instead of traffic! We were a few mins from a small stretch of beach and a lovely restaurant Stella's. If you don't rode a bike, you're pretty far from anything else. But we walked to another stretch of beach and a cafe and it was fine.
The staff organised our taxi back to the ferry pier for 100tbt pp, which was fair value.
The staff also provided mosquito spirals and a lighter, whixh was great for when we wanted to sit outside.
The room was clean and the more is a mosquito net for the bed. Extension lead and kettle with coffee etc.
The bathroom was clean and the shower was warm - all great. We would have liked to stay longer.
If you don't like bugs, this isn't for you as other reviews have said. But you're completely fine under the net and if you don't mind the little geckos and lizards, they eat thr bugs so make great room buddies!
It would have been nice of there were more staff around every so often as we would have liked to ask about thr bike/sidecar rental
Baum was nice but we only saw him once and Jai was helpful but again, they weren't always around.
Otherwise, we had a great stay!! Kop kun kaa

Definitely worth a stay here, without a doubt the most comfortable mattress I've slept in, in Thailand. Very cool rustic cabin, loved the separate almost like outside toilet and shower. Beach is across the road, with stunning views. Very humble owner. There was nothing I didn't like about the place
Nada!

Helpful owner. The location is right in front of a good local little restaurant.
The reception office is messy; It gives a bad idea of the property. The Bungalow was not properly equipped; No chair to sit.

I want to return to this place so much! We spent five nights here but I could have spent five weeks! The room was very comfortable and clean, peaceful and in such a beautiful location; surrounded by nature, close to the beach and some restaurants with delicious food options, even for vegetarians. The host was really helpful, super friendly without being overbearing and was very fair with scooter rental. If you're looking for a relaxing stay on a peaceful paradise island, this is your place.

- Staff is friendly and helpful
- Eating place across the street is cheap, eating place to the left is open early till late and 2nd eating place on the right has a great view.
- The beach is a stones throw away.
- There is a local convenience store nearby (walking distance)
- Padi dive center walking distance.
- if you cross cross the nearby bridge there is actually a decent amount of hiking you could do as there is an abandoned hotel there that's not on maps.me or google maps.
-See a lovely sunrise.
- Bungalow was decent for the price.
- Hammock was great.
- there were ants entering the bathroom at night. Not a big issue though.
- It's a budget friendly alternative to one of the more expensive resorts, so don't expect wow.

Great bungalow in a convenient location. We stayed here for a week and would have loved to stay longer. It's close to several food options, great beach, and a pier with a night market. Bao is such a nice, friendly guy, and made us feel comfortable and welcome during our stay. Can't wait to come back some time :)

Just in front of the sea, and near the waterfall. you can rent motorbike directly at the property. you only hear the sound of nature and you can easily sport hornbills from your room.
however be careful if you don’t tolerate bugs and spider it might not be the right place for you.

very hot in the bungalow during the day without air conditioning

Rustique bungalow, exactly what we signed up for. Jungle noises mingling with the call to prayer of the local mosque makes for lovely background noise. Excellent mosquito net over the bed. Hammock was great. Cute black and white cat lives in reception.
Don’t expect to see the owner (although they were very friendly when we did cross paths). Don’t expect luxury! Not as many mosquitoes as I thought but obviously there were some.

I rented a nice deluxe bungalow. It was very spacious and comfortable. Also the location was great, many restaurants and beaches were nearby, though I advice you to (always in Thailand) rent a scooter.
Also the bed was not too hard, neither too soft and the area is very quiet, except for some local animals. So I slept really well.
The owner was very friendly and checked in with me. He also brought me to the pier on the day that I left . Such a nice man.
Don’t forget to visit the waterfall, which is a 2 minute walked from the property!
Nothing, but if I really have to come up with something: there were lots of ants during the night in the bathroom. They were friendly and didn’t bite though.

Bungalow was spacious, close to restaurants and the pier to Krabi
The female host was extremely rude, every interaction we had with her she was purposely rude to us. We tried to rent a motorbike and the man who checked us in told us 200baht per day, the next day we were about to rent one and she said it would be 250 baht because “she was in charge that day” and told us to walk down the road to get one from someone else. Everyone seemed aloof and not concerned or helpful at all about running a guesthouse: we talked to other guests who had been there for 6 days and they never once cleaned their room. The staff seemed disinterested and didn’t care about helping guests in any other way than taking money. On the third day we were about to go the beach and she told us we had to leave and they were closing the bungalows that day and we had to get out. She gave us no warning of this at all the previous days or that morning, even though we had seen her multiple times that morning- we had no back up plan or accommodations and were planning on staying another night. We have both traveled around Thailand and have never experienced anything like this, usually hosts are kind and helpful. Would not recommend staying here.

Big bungalow with nice balcony and hammock to relax in a quiet area just a bit out of the main road
Owner is super friendly
You can rent scooter there (250baths) because you need it to explore the island
Good location next to the pier to go to Krabi and between the 2 nice beaches on the island
It was nice to have bottles of water when we arrive and a fridge in the room, and instant nescafé for the lenght of your stay
A bit hot in the bungalow with fan only
A bit too dark inside even with the lights on
Blanket was a large towel
