Location was close by to Hiroshima station and within walking distance to multiple attractions such as the Peace Memorial Park and the Peace Memorial Museum. Also, the Costco there was walkable as well. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Check in was a breeze and the room was a pretty standard hotel room, not a lot of space especially if you brought a lot of luggage. Beds were very comfortable. At the bottom of the building was a Lawson and the hotel also had a buffet as well but we did not try it out.

The washroom was clean but had a slightly sour smell.

Unfortunately, only smoking room left when we booked, and can really smell the stale smoke in the furniture and curtains, so understandable. One side of the bed is up against the window with a narrow gap at the end of the bed, so a little clamber for one person to get up to use the toilet, if there's 2 of you.

The room was a little small, but there is everything you need. Very modern. You can control everything (aircon, light, etc) from your bed. I like the fact you can check availablity of the coin laundry machine from your tv screen.

The hotel is big, so there is a lot of people. Try to avoid having breakfast from 7 to 8 AM.

Great location and close to popular sites. Stayed for one night and walked everywhere we needed.

Soooo close to the station which was amazing. Room was great (tiny but that's expected) we went for a twin which still fit our bubs travel cot in. Staff were so friendly. Lawson's and restaurant downstairs which was convenient and close to lots. Easy walk to the park. Breakfast included. Highly recommend.

The pillows were so thin and flimsy.

This is a clean, centrally located hotel that is close by Hiroshima Station. It is difficult to beat as far as convenience for late arriving and early departing Shinkansen train trips.

There are two APA Hotels located in very close proximity to each other with similar names, so going to the wrong one by accident is a real possibility. If you've traveled in Japan, you know that rooms are small, but these are small for Japan.

Small room with no space to store clothes or cases. Small but adequate bathroom. Rather uncomfortable bed. Despite being advertised as a business hotel, no laundry service, only eight washing machines for 600 rooms.

Very convenient location - 10 mins walk from Hiroshima station. A main chain of hotels in Japan so the standard was very high for cleanliness and amenities. The room was a little small but this is standard in Japan. A conscience store located in the hotel which was great. Spa/onsen located in the hotel which was very good. Laundry service in hotel which could get very busy so best to go at random times like middle of the day.

The check-in machines can really slow down the check-in process, but it is not a big problem.

The hotel was very clean, a good size and had great amenities

They were not able to locate our booking and when the booking was found it still took a very long time to check in. It took us almost an hour to check in which with 3 very tired children was not ideal.

The room is really good, there were everything I need inside the room. It is really convenient that I can check the usage of the ohuro (Japanese SPA) from the TV, and there is a Lawson store at the front of the hotel, where I can buy some snack in the night.

I had enjoyed the onsen, the good breakfast spread and the hotel staff service quality--especially the super patient and polite front service staff Arano San (female) who confidently helped me with the check in notwithstanding that her English is basic. She persuaded me to sign up as an APA member, so it looks like I will return to APA properties in future in Japan. I also enjoyed wearing the yukata to the onsen. it was so local. A Lawson convenience store right next to the property was a welcome sight, I stocked up water and some chocs for my journey the next day.

The location of this hotel for foreigners is a real challenge. There are 3 separate APA properties and for a foreigner, I could not discern between APA, APA Ekimae and APA Ekimae Ohashi. Google map was not much help for the last location, where I had booked. I would have booked APA main hotel which was much closer to the station (JR Hiroshima). Other than a beer house cum local eatery next to the property, there were no other food choices around the hotel within 20 metres. It was raining heavily on the night I needed to look for dinner.

As usual with APA, a good quality overall in everything. Just the confort of not having to be worried of the hotel base quality is great ~
