The host was rude and did not consider our booking. Was asking for advance and when we refused he talked rudely. He was not believing that I will check in so I had to cancel it.

Decent hotel.

Location is a bit out of the way. For me, it was OK once I found it, it is on a small road branching at about the middle of the way between Taj and the Red Fort.

Location good for access to Taj Mahal and fort but area not brilliant. Owner friendly and waited up late as our train was very late.

Room cold, had to pay extra for heater. Bathroom needs updating. Had to put water on before could shower. Balcony ok but unusable as wall very short so not safe and view not pleasant. Not sure why it’s called a boutique homestay. It was presumably the owners home but felt like a small hotel.

Mr. Faiz and his family were very kind and accommodating to my friend and I. We got sick upon our arrival in Agra and couldn’t do very much. Mr. Faiz made us Indian comfort food, bought us a papaya to help with the stomach problems, and went out of his way to help us. Rooms were very big and just a brief 10 minute walk to the Taj Mahal. There is room service, a heater for 300 rupees a night in the winter, laundry service and more! Breakfast is available for 250 and they have western options such as muesli, toast, and eggs. Overall, was grateful that I stayed here for my time in Agra.

The area is fairly quiet, however the surrounding area was not the cleanest or the best smelling. The sheet and towels did not seem clean, tv doesn’t work, pillows were small and flat, and there was no water heater in the room.

Loved EVERYTHING! Unfortunately my journey to and from Agra was anything but smooth, but Mr Faiz was so extraordinarily accommodating throughout and always on hand with so much advice and information - he could not have done more for me, for which I am so grateful. The room itself was comfortable, with Mr Faiz providing extra blankets as it was quite chilly out when I visited in late January. The location is also ideal, being just a few minutes to the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Truly ideal for my (brief) stay in Agra. In addition, the food was exceptionally delicious, and even made not too spicy for my unaccustomed western palate - something I’ve struggled with a bit during my trip around India. Cannot recommend staying here enough - it really is a home from home!!

Loved the stay in this House where ambience is awesome, staffs are cool and cooperative, services are mind blowing, room and associated facilities are upto the mark. Polite way of handling the customers which shows their commitment. Very close the Taj and by walk can be reached to the entry gate. Breakfast is delicious and number if varieties are available. If planning to visit Agra then you may consider this home away Home without any doubts.❣️❣️

Food and Rooms are very Good

When passing the gate you enter a spacious hall with a nice white stone flour. The first flour har a convenient space with tables where you can sit. The room was spacious, unfortunately the plumbing dit smell a bit, but for the rest the room was very nice. Wifi is good! Also in the room on the first floor. Location is perfect for visiting the Taj Mahal through the west gate. We learned that this gate already opens at six o'clock. Don't miss the sunset at the Taj Mahal. Management of the hotel is super. Mr. Faiz interviened in a dispute we had with a taxi driver and helped us a lot in settling the matter. Overall we had a very good experience here.
