Staff were very friendly. Food was good. Beautiful landscaping.
Larger beers would have been nice. More information on activities could have been provided.

The location is nice, tucked outside of town but near the beach. The general area facilities and pool are nice. Nice views.
There was no hot water for almost our entire stay (4/5days). The water was shut off/ran out twice during our stay. There were leaf blowers every morning starting at 8am (not on the property but nearby). There are no nets on the windows/doors and was unable to shut bugs out of the room/had many mosquito bites because of it. They use the 'recycled' water to irrigate their plants and it literally smelled like feces and was wafting into our room as we were trying to nap during the day. There is a flood light in the parking lot that shines into the rooms so it doesn't get dark at night. I tried asking the management for a refund for the remaining stay on day 2 so we could book another hotel but I was unable to because I booked through a 3rd party but when I contacted the 3rd party, they called them and made it happen. I appreciate the eco-conscious resort but essentials like water need to be met.

Food was good but had breakfast only once. You cannot charge breakfast to the room unless you open up a "credit", which means the front desk charges your credit card in advance. what, do they fear we are going to run away overnight without paying for meals? Also, they charged for the milk to add to the coffee!!! Really? 30MX$ for the milk?
No wifi in the rooms
Most people on staff did not speak English
No hooks in the room for clothes. And especially no hooks near the shower
Terrible reading lights on either sides of the bed. Impossible to read in bed

The grounds were decent and location across from beach was sufficient.
We had driven for 9 hours and arrived only to have 2 hotels mess up our reservations so we found this place last minute. It was incredibly expensive for what you get. No WiFi, No ac, no towels, no door on the bathroom. Cracks in the walls for bugs to get in. It was basically a standard cheap Mexico palapa that should be $15 bucks tops. We had initially thought we booked two nights and when we got there they said we did not and had a wedding the next day and couldn’t stay more than one. It was my birthday so my girlfriend paid for the room with her credit card while I waited in the car. when she got back and told me we could only stay one night I wanted to leave. I went back in and tried to cancel and they wouldn’t let me, telling me it was charged through Booking.com.
How can it when my girlfriend just paid with her card?! Oh, and there was pump outside of our room that went off and on the entire night every 30-45 seconds loudly! Not relaxing at all.

Nice spacious clean and beautiful room. Very comfy beds
A bit noisy on the road
Surface level luxury, a bit expensive for what you get

It was a beautiful hotel, with pool and an incredible ocean view
It was too expensive and there were animals inside the bed and not everything was as clean as we expected it for the price.

Food and drinks were good. The facilities are really pretty and nice.
I was very disappointed because the reservation I did on booking was not the same they placed in the Hotel. They wanted to charge us for the 2 people extra in cash and cards were not applicable (I made a reservation for 4) after I showed and share the information of my reservation they were able to let us in, the staff was nice but they're not really problem solvers. During the night a table that was hanging in the wall felt down breaking all the cups and bottle of water provided by the hotel and they wanted to charge us something that was not our responsibility, the facilities are nice but they have a lot of simple furniture that is not well made. A/C is a must in this kind of hotels and WIFI, I couldn't have WIFI anywhere besides the cafeteria and it was not really good internet and I could work well remotely and phone signal is not helpful in this area. The beach was not right front of the hotel, you have to walk to get there.

Style
Luckily we only booked it for one night and we didn’t stay even that one and had to book a different place.
- The room was dirty with a lot of insects inside
- No AC and the fan wasn’t enough to make temperature comfortable
- A lot of stairs
- Far away from everything
- When we arrived there was no food options available in the property
- No fridge at all in the hotel. Needed to store baby’s food and were not able to do that

bed bugs.

everything but the food is the best, the climate and the little street to the beach is excelent
the only thing I would like (but is only my personal opinion) some air conditioning but honestly it’s not necessary the rooms are really fresh

Location & design were great - it was remote while also being close enough to access town etc. Food from restaurant was also very good and the staff were attentive to whatever we asked for help with.
The staffing of the restaurant seemed like it was not enough it always took a very long time to get things we had ordered. There was also not much by way of ambiance (no music playing or communal vibe of the hotel)...it seemed to kind of place you there and then let you figure out how to make it special. Also there was nearby construction which although was not their fault, if music or more had been done to compensate for the fact that it was horribly loud - would have gone a long way.

Quiet and relaxing place. The food was really good. Just next to the beach. Great staff.
A bit overpriced for the size of the common areas. Balcony had no privacy.

really cool hotel.. loved the location. food was really great too!
construction next door! 6 days a week starts at 8 am, not relaxing. not to mention they were also drilling concrete 2 doors over from my room on Saturday in addition to the construction next door. it was non stop. you can also hear everything in all the rooms next to you. I heard people throwing up, having sexy, talking, partying etc.

There were some artistic features about the property.
They tried to overcharge us and then when we asked them to correct the problem they suggested a cash deal which went bad After we tried to negotiate because we were not satisfied with our stay. There was no hot water in the evening and in the morning. There was a sewage smell intermittently during our stay. We were woken up at 6 AM to construction sounds. We found a cockroach in the bathroom.

The rooms are stunning, perfect sunset views.
We arrived for a city break and had a lovely morning at the beach followed by a relaxing afternoon at the superb hotel pool.
All the staff were keen to make our stay as lovely as possible. look forward to visiting again

On property restaurant with a view was unbelievable.
no wifi in room

Beautiful property and close to the beach too. Staff were very friendly. Great view from the balcony but unfortunately the construction didn’t allow us to enjoy it.
Management should have warned us about the construction next door. It was on all day long for 3 days straight. So despite the beautiful setting, we didn’t spend much time on the property.

Staffwas kind and helpful, the food was well prepared and healthy. An overall nice atmosphere in the Hotel.
the location was also great, as one is close to the beach. A plus was also the pool, where one could relax when needed. It was also very spacy, so not crammed
The construction site on the other side of the street. They started to work at 8am and went on until 5pm. Any benefit of the hotel was influenced by the constant noise. There was no way to sleep in or really relax. For a Hotel whose primary idea ist to "escape" this is a major issue, which wasn't adressed at all or led to any discount when adressed at the reception. The full price for the Rooms was still booked, which seems unreasonable given this situation.
Additionally the warm water didn't work on the majority of the days, so one had to shower cold, another not very "relaxing" aspect.

beautiful pool area and grounds . nice big rooms with charm
not beachfront as stated , which was very important to me when I was booking . disappointed to see that the beach was actually outside some back gates and a walk . it didn’t end up being a big issue because the pool is so nice but shouldn’t lost property as “Beachfront”

The peace and ambiance of the hotel. We had a great rest, in a place where all people are really kind and relaxed. You are truly disconnected and in contact with nature.
The bed sheets were not as clean as you expect. Several bugs inside the room. The mattress was a bit too soft. But this is minimum besides the great experience.

The staff was very nice, the waitresses and cookers were very friendly and their service exceeded my expectations
Everything was nice, but the Internet was a bit slower for working purposes that required good bandwith for meetings, but on the other side it was a reason to relax more. Also the construction of the new building was a bit noisy and covered some of the view
6.0
Views from the rooms.
Hotel needs work to come up to reasonable standards. Pool is algae green, paint is peeling, roof of room was leaking. The whole place needs a cleanup. Staff is there to work their shift, nice enough but not focused. Food is so-so.

I really liked location, comfy beds and spacious rooms the only thing I didn't liked was our next door guest was making to much noise at night time and you can hear everything.
Next door guest making to much noise and you can hear everything

The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was large. The hotel is quite lovely
The food was disappointing. My pizza tasted like a frozen cardboard pizza and the burger was not very good. We asked the waiter for the check, and he had completely forgotten about it. My husband went looking for him to find him hanging out smoking.

The ambianceof the whole hotel was great. The place, the buildings and specially the rooms were very nice and relaxing. The food was amazing!
Some things as the floor and curtains were not as clean as you would have expected. But in general everything else was ok. Electricity tends to fail, but you're there to disconnect.
7.0
The pool was very relaxing
The phone and internet were very limited
