Beautiful property with heated pool. Staff member, Washington, was great at getting whatever services we were looking for.
Short on staff. Power out for about 4 hours the night before my flight-this was more likely due to Ecuador energy shortages not the facility itself. No shampoo or conditioner which I expected for the price I paid.

The bungalow was overlooking cloud forest and sitting outside watching the wildlife was lovely and restful. The upstairs terrace for breakfast is a fantastic setting for bird watching and the breakfast was excellent.
The hot water in our bungalow was intermittent. However my daughters in the bungalow next door did not have any issues. We had a car and so the location 5 minutes drive from town was fine, it was a nice quiet location but would be difficult without a car possibly.

Lovely breakfasts overlooking the gardens, with many wild birds. Dinners were also good, with a range of excellent cocktails. Excellent staff, very helpful with tours and taxis. Rooms were quite basic but clean and comfortable.
Very difficult to find, as Google maps is inaccurate.

Beautiful property with individual cabanas set around pool with wonderful landscaping. loved the rooftop restaurant with lots of bird viewing and Mountain View’s. Staff was wonderful.
Great if you have a rental car but like many places in Quito you’ll need to take a taxi to many locations( they’ll call from the front desk) and not sure about getting back. We had the BEST massages of our lives ( volcanic stone) but no robes to walk over in and j no o privacy for changing ( but worth it!). Porch off room overlooked neighboring hotel.

It is always annoying to be wrongly directed by Google maps. We were the other side of a field away. Not too far but easily corrected by the hotel to move their pinned placement slightly. Or send a brief instruction prior to arrival "head up the road to Mariposas de Mindo, the very good Butterfly Garden and Mindo Cano-py Ziplines, our sign Hosteria Coffee Lodge will be on the left". The entrance was also signed Crystal Glamping, a new venture?
While the buildings themselves, the pool, the presentation of breakfast, all live up to the aspiration of a top hotel its little things like directions, or effective WiFi that are slight failings. Apart from that our room, a bungalow, was large, super king bed, immaculately clean with a nice patio area and cloud forest view.
Breakfast was fruit plate, breads, eggs cooked to choice, fried plantain with cheese, fruit juice and tea or coffee all well presented. Dinner was available, significantly more expensive than local restaurants, and the open sided restaurant perhaps not the most conducive to eating on cold evenings. Not an issue as we had a car to visit local restaurants but otherwise a cheap taxi ride or a 20 minute walk along a gravel road.
The small pool was surprisingly warm and fun for a quick dip after a day's sightseeing.

Once we found it (it's a bit tucked out of the way), the location of the Coffee Lodge was central and so convenient. And the staff there was just wonderful!!! Washington gave us a lot of local tourist information and it was altogether fun talking to and getting to know him. The woman who served us breakfast (so sorry, her name escapes me for the moment...Ximena, maybe?) was also a warm, delightful person. We had a very comfortable stay in our lovely room near the pool; everything was to our liking, except the length of our stay - which was too short!
The shower door didn't totally close so some water got on the floor - but we were given an extra bath mat as soon as we reported it.

The bungalow was hidden and comfortable with an amazing view of the forest! it was a 10-15 minute walk into town, which we really enjoyed but some may want to be closer.

We were impressed with the room. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the little refrigerator for the drinks we purchased.
The hotel is far from the main road. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk which isn't bad but it rains a lot in the rain forest. It would have been nice to have a shuttle going back and forth.

Breakfast was VEPRY GOOD!
Different, they pay attention to the little things.
Very relaxing place.
I liked it all.

it’s peaceful and the rooms are nice. The view from the restaurant is great.
I didn’t like that booking.com told me the total price was $144 for the two nights but ended up being $175 when I checked in. If you say total price, that needs to be everything included

The staff was very friendly and helpful and served a really nice breakfast. The room, our own terrace, but also the hotel garden were all beautiful. The bathroom was very big and clean and had a nice jacuzzi. We will come back here for sure.

Beautiful location & the view from the terrace is stunning
Bed was large & comfortable
The directions to get there are completely wrong - I spent half an hour driving around trying to find the place - in a town of 4000 people! when I arrived I was offered a video of how to find the place - why didn’t they send me this BEFORE I arrived???
Check-in took forever
For the money I would say this place is overpriced - worth $50 max

Everything was exceptional. The breakfasts and dinners were outstanding. The amenities and thoughtfulness of the staff were truly exceptional. When I come back to Ecuador, the Coffee Lodge and Spa will be on my "must stay at" list.
The shower water pressure could have been more consistent. The water seems to rotate from hot to cold and back again with no warning. The water was more than hot enough, however if it could stay at the same temperature as selected that would be great.

The view from the restaurant is lovely and relaxing. And the breakfast was delicious!

Excellent breakfast which was included in the price.
The walking route to Mindo was quite long, a shorter was available through the parking lot of the next accomodation but we were told we had to walk all the way around. So use a dark road at night.

The room was beautiful and spacious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property was very beautiful, although it is a bit remote from town. The drive to the property was a bit bumpy, and it wasn't really walking distance to anything.
Shower - water fluctuated randomly rom cold to scalding with little warning. I started to learn the pipe noises that would change it to scalding, but it was a test in patience. There seemed to be only two people working the front desk/restaurant. We had to preorder dinner via WhatApp - it was just a little awkward vs a typical restaurant.

Very relaxing, comfortable environment. Nice grounds, gardens, swimming pool. Big, delicious breakfast -- gluten-free, dairy-free specially for me. We enjoyed the dinners too. Prompt, friendly service. Recommended.
I would have liked to have a table and chair for my laptop inside our room. Otherwise, perfect.
