We loved the beautiful floor-to-ceiling sea views from this very clean, bright and airy small apartment with comfortable modern furnishing. Plenty of natural light, and the two-way blinds are fully adjustable for varying levels of privacy. The open kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave and small refrigerator. We were on a work trip and appreciated the convenience of having the clothes washer/dryer—it is located in the bathroom, which looks newly done and has good hot water pressure for both the overhead & handheld shower options; the toilet is equipped with a bidet. The location is excellent, with direct access (via security gate) to the lovely coastal walk that extends to the Petit Canyelles beach 15 minutes walk to the north (there are steps at various points leading down to natural rocky swimming platforms); or to Roses town 20 minutes walk south (or a mere 5 minutes drive by car). Also a great base for various hikes including the marvellous Neolithic complex of dolmens and menhirs and also the remains of a Visigothic fort and settlement. We would be happy to stay here again! Note: this was a December trip so we don’t know how different it would be in summer when the swimming pool opposite is open.
