The location is exceptional - quick and easy access to the autobahn in a quiet, natural setting. The staff were accommodating and helpful. A mid-week concert was unexpected and much enjoyed.

Nice location for a weekend away. We had a relaxed stroll in the wood. Typical local cuisine: big portions, a bit heavy and fat. The staff was attentive and courteous.
Nothing worth of mentioning as long as you don't come with very high expectations.

Good location and special parking for motorbikes. Very friendly staff/ owner. Great walking trails just behind the hotel.
Breakfast starts at 9am only and is expensive (€9 pp).

As some other people say. It's a bit an older hotel. But we didn't mind at all. As we liked it here a lot. But can be an issue for some people.

The view and area were stunning!
There was nobody upon arrive so we had to call for our key. It worked okay, but I prefer a personal checkin.
Too bad it was "Ruhetag" so we had to drive further for dinner after a long day traveling.

The property was located on the mountain next to some incredible hiking routes. Parking was at the property, the restaurant was very affordable and the breakfast was good.
We were expecting a lake, but it was more like a small pond. The facilities were a bit older, but still good.
