We had secure parking with unit, 2 car spaces. We were on the 7th floor with 2 balconies overlooking the bridge and the entrance to the lakes. Very nice view with good chairs to lounge on plus outside table and chairs. The sun was off the balconies by about lunch time so we never suffered from too much heat. Very comfortable lounge area with huge TV. Bedroom had good firm bed. Plenty of hot water and very good water pressure in shower.

The curtains in the bed room and the main lounge have shrunk, this needs to be addressed to make it dark early in the morning as the sun hits full on across the apartment. I was unable to tell anyone as I never saw anyone around.

We loved the playground with the superb view nearby about 3 mins walking. The apartment very clean as well :)

Tuncurry is a wonderful place and the hotel is located opposite Wallis Lake with views across the estuary and out to sea. It is an amazing location and place, which we've been visiting for 50 years.

The entire process, booking, parking, access to lifts, access to all necessary amenities, ceiling fans in each room, very very clean linen , big bathrooms and rooms generally, wonderful view from the balcony, quiet. Couldn’t ask for better

The fact it was within walking distance to everything was a bonus! Receptionist was fantastic and the apartment itself was more than we asked for, exceeding our expectations!

The apartment itself was spotless in terms of cleanliness, presentation and thoughtfulness of amenities. It is a little dated but very manageable. The location is fine from a convenience perspective however the main bedroom of apartment 202 is directly on the main road. Unless you are used to noise this will be an issue.

I travelled with my small pet dog contrary to booking conditions because at the last minute it was absolutely unavoidable. I was booked for 5 days to recover from spine surgery. I was not met by anyone when I checked in and I did not speak to anyone at all for a couple of days simply coming and going with my pet dog. I had no reason to think I had caused unnecessary stress by bringing my pet dog. Halfway through my booking, on the back of a 'regulatory fire inspection ', I was called by reception staff to explain they had seen I had a dog staying while checking the fire alarm and demanded I rectify the situation. Whilst admittedly being in the wrong for taking my small dog, what defies belief is that reception then admitted to being owners of apartment/s in the building - which is pet friendly - and they also have a dog. Irrespective of having only two nights left myself and my pug were evicted anyway at a loss of $600. As we arrived one day after our booking due to my leaving hospital late, I effectively stayed 1.5 days for $1500. I have been going to Tuncurry for 40 years and chose this location against my better judgement. Technically reception might have been correct but the irony of kicking us out, because of my little dog, when they are not only residents but also have their own dog, is completely ridiculous. What perhaps might have been more appropriate would have been to understand our position, accept my apology, and look the other way for 48 hours.
