The lodge is beautifully build, every lodge is very private and in distance from each other. Great place to relax and be in one with wonderful nature, while swinging in your own hammock. The people working in the lodge are most wonderful, kind hearted. The Chef prepares high cuisine in the jungle and goes beyond expectations to meet the diet requirements of the guests. I loved the trips around the area with Carlos, he is so knowledgeable, was pleasure spending time with him.

We're sending our many thanks and praises to Aldo with staff. What a wonderful place, this gem called Ämak! Situated 45 mins from Iquitos with speedboat. All of the staff were very friendly and accomodation. For every meal (apart from breakfast) we were served 3 dishes. They were all a sensation for the pallet; 5 star ingridients and flavour. SIgnature dishes of the area. Apart from that we where out on excursions the for the duration of the days (we where there for 3 Days). And that was a great concept and weared you out, in a good way, before the sleep. Cozy and Clean cabins. Romantic place for a couple, cool place for friends or for a family to stay at. Just be sure to bring plenty of mosquito repellent during the rain season and long sleaved shirts and trousers. And you'll be fine. Hope to be back some day soon! A true paradise on Earth...

Food is amazing, like it so much, chef is a genius. Staff, hotel manager, tour guide are all very nice and thoughtful. It was a wonderful experience.

It is a little difficult for us to have shower without heated water. But it is in Amazon, understandable.
