Great complementary breakfast and amazing location. The place was clean and beautiful.

Everything was there that was needed for our stay, lovely breakfast and fruit supplied, even butter, milk, tea and really coffee ...even homemade Jam supplied.
was a little cool in there at evening time as the heating was a oil heater but was not quite big enough to heat the space but we used a blanet and they did supply hot water bottles which was so thoughtful.

Breakfast was supplied eggs, a loaf of bread, condiments, fresh fruit, muesli, tea and coffee very nice touch. Everything you need to cook breakfast. It was lovely watching the birds while eating breakfast.
The upstairs noise was a bit frustrating. It was to be expected I guess being directly underneath the main house.

The fresh produce was very tasty and enjoyable for breakfast, facilities were great, after staying at motels in Walpole without digital TV or a washing machine, it was very enjoyable to come to the base!

Central to Walpole and Albany
The noise form the owners upstairs yes it says some noise but the last night we were there they were still banging around at 10.30 and started again at 6.30 the next morning...
Very cold with the concrete floors
It needs good clean in some places . The view out the doors into the garden is very average at best.
With just a bit of money spent in sound proofing, better heating as well as a good tidy up it would be a great place to stay

From the day we arrived it felt very homely. The owner catered for the cold weather with hot water bottles and heaters which was great!! On arrival there was fresh bread, eggs, fruit, milk and all the condiments to compliment. Overall if you want a nice couple getaway I would highly recommend.
This only applies if you are a light sleeper like myself.
It is underneath the house so you can hear people upstairs but that was expected when we read other reviews. When it rains you could hear some sort of tank being filled which was annoying when trying to sleep.

Location was handy, brekky supplies were good and the facilities were good. The bed was comfy.
As the apartment had a concrete floor it was a little cool at times. Had to leave the heaters running most of the time to keep the place warm.
