Location big apartment
Pigeons . don't pay extra for terrace as couldn't sit outside in courtyard for pigeons pooing all over it

This is a great location and with the option of parking (payable) makes it handy. Marine was welcoming, friendly and helpful and also suggested where we head for supper which was great.
Sadly the hotel needs renovation. Our room had a damaged ceiling in the bathroom from a previous leak, the shower was a dribble, the toilet needed maintenance and our bedding was as tired as we were, the old, dirty and ripped curtains were hanging off in places and generally our room was dated and certainly not representative of the amount of money we paid.
This is not a five star property as the booking rate says, I would rate it around 2 stars.
The reception and general purpose areas are full of unused pieces of furniture, piled up everywhere, it is messy and looks more hostel than hotel. Outside maintenance repairs are needed to the building, pigeons are living in the roof and it is tatty and looking uncared for. The pictures on the booking.com site are not representative of the condition today (Feb 2023).
If you want a centrally located room for the night with off street parking (bookable/payable) and can bag a hostel/motel type room rate then it does the job, but don’t expect 5 stars or it to be a true reflection of the photos.

A lovely period house with a high standard of modernisation but retaining all of its charm. Friendly and efficient staff, roomy, clean and well equipped accommodation and located in the heart of beautiful Troyes with private parking available (that is almost unheard of!)
The mezzanine bedroom was rather cramped with a large double bed in limited floor space.

The location was in the medieval city which is lovely to walk around. There were lots of restaurants close by for our evening meal. It was also within a short walk of a supermarket so we were able to purchase provisions. The apartment gave us more room than a conventional hotel room.
The hotel supplied an ample breakfast to enjoy in our room or in the courtyard. There was enough to take with us for lunch!
I remembered to reserve a parking space in the courtyard, which was very convenient.

Comfortable and clean. In the middle of the old town, it's beautiful with surprises around every corner. Booked very late, after check in closed at 9h30 PM and immediately received a call with instructions. Completely contactless check in and had a very comfortable night.super comfortable king size bed.

We got a room/apartment at the second location: Sainte Trinité. Which was great, quit and cozy. Bed was great and breakfast was wonderful.
The price of parking a car could be, preferably, less.

This is not a 5 star hotel it’s 2/3 star (the photos you can see for the superior apartment is not what we were given
Positives: beds were very comfortable, the apartment was well equipped and warm. That’s the thing if someone had said this was a 2/3 star hotel and charged me accordingly I would have been fair enough what do you expect for that price and star. The issue is they sell themselves as 5 star and charge like a 5 star
each room should be 5 star if selling the hotel as 5 star. We were allocated a room that was 2 star. Lights falling off wall,Leaky taps,Rubbish shower, Dirty furniture, Pipes in a cupboard with leaky bath Doors don’t close with no locks!
They provided a dirty sponge in the kitchen and 1 dishwasher tablet, they provided Literally nothing No shampoo, shower cap, fresh soap etc
I’ve travelled a lot in my time, I’ve stayed at 2/3 stars as well as 4/5 stars and I can tell you this is not close to a 5 star!
