Great location right in the centre of Hobart. Very nice apartment. The fridge was stocked with goodies. Coffee machine. Very comfortable bed. Superior towels. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Nothing was any trouble.

The "Quarry House Luxury Retreat" is a funky apartment that offers so much more than a hotel room. Extra care is taken from the time you book to your departure. Communication with the hosts is friendly. Love that you deal directly with the owners. Their attention to detail makes the experience extra special; fresh flowers by the bed, fresh fruit on the dining table, and other treats in the fridge add to a very warm and welcoming stay. The view was amazing. A special thank you for having us and providing an OUTSTANDING place to stay. We plan to return as well as recommend this place.

The location of this apartment/retreat is on a road that is used quite a bit, so we felt that we were not able to have the window doors open a great deal of time during our stay due to the noise (it is not constant though). I love fresh air and often would select not to use A/C but in this case, we were happy to use the air-conditioner as it was very effective to not have this worry us. This is not a negative, more of an FYI.

All the added extras were amazing! Breakfast spread lasted us the whole time we stayed and chocolate and wine in the fridge 💖 Bed was comfy and everything was super clean.

This property exceeded our expectations with the hosts going above and beyond to offer a unique, Tasmanian experience. Lots of complimentary extras included which were a lovely touch - most of which we didn't have time to take advantage of but the thought was appreciated none the less! Nice to see an accommodation live up to the word "luxury" that gets thrown around alot - no cheap kmart furnishings or supermarket shampoo here. Everything was quality.

The foods are all prepared in advanced. Simple but fresh. The owner even prepared a bottle of wine and some chocolates as gift.

Quarry House exceeded our expectations! It has everything you need, the owners have gone the extra mile with providing extra amenities and the place was amazing. Great location, comfy bed, all the things you'd ever want and need in a place! The bottle of wine was a nice touch and the treats in the fridge!

It felt like home and the hosts are so good at hospitality

The front gate is a pain. After checkin having a gate clicker would be so much better then the whole get out of your car, push a button and wait for it to open and close.

The property had everything you could want. The breakfast and treats supplied were excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

A bit of traffic noise at peak times but was fine at night.

Everything was comfortable, brilliant communication with the host.

Honestly only little things, the water pressure in the shower was not great for me but that’s a personal preference. The only other thing that somewhat bothered me was the coffee table took up a lot of space and is quite low, both my partner and I managed to hit it and fall over it.

location is fantastic. walked into town and surrounding suburbs every day. easy secure parking. a lift is available if we used the stairs everyday. the apartment is spacious and comfortable. toiletries delicious. pantry items were generous owners were great communicators and helpful. view of Mt Wellington every day was great.

a little street noise towards the weekend, Friday Saturday night but didn’t affect our sleep.

Great location, very nice clean apartment. Lots of goodies to enjoy, and everything we needed to feel comfortable. Easy to park the car and also great communication with our host Terry.

Only thing was the traffic noise which can be a little loud for a light sleeper.

We loved the location and the extra special touches like the Tasmanian food and wine in the fridge! The bed was so comfortable as well :) Would definitely recommend!
