Location is the highlight of this place, private beach, off-road approach and the rustic wooden cottages! Nothing better for the visual treat one can experience. We visited during the summer season still the climate was good, though a bit humid still better than most of the places in Middle East. After a long ride from Dubai we could make it to the souly lodge only by midnight but the staff was so welcoming with smile on their faces, adding it with this property's beauty we just forgot all our tiredness and sat for another 2 hours on our amazing balcony facing the sea! A room cannot be decorated in a better way! It was love at first sight for me once we entered and then the love kept going on and on. The best part was their open shower with sky and cocunut trees for company, it was so fun taking a bath in such an environment. Even the furnitures had a rustic feel to it, right from the balcony chairs to the low sitting options inside the room, everything was really pleasing to the eyes and to sit. The beach was very clean and long, though one should definitely not jump straight into the water as it is quite a dangerous beach and the waves are quite unpredicatable. Adding to which you don't have any lifeguards present so its a low score for me. We had seen one couple struggle to come out and personally we had a small incidence wherein we were suddenly spent away by the force of water, so just be cautious even if you are a good swimmer or taking kids along. Though the silence of that place will definitely make you sit there for hours, away from life's hustle. Souly Lodge has a breakfast buffet option, wherein you can enjoy the standard breakfast meals available around all hotels. Nothing great to talk about, but with the view what you get, it just makes the food taste a little better. If you are visiting Salalah, this place is a must for an off beat stay if the prices are within budget.

Price is a big let down & I think its a common problem for all the hotels/resorts in Salalah. Though for this price, Souly lodge should have more activities for their guests to be engaged, like beach volleyball or some other games. Currently, there is just a blank beach and nothing else to do.

NOTHING on top of this they are literally thieves!! claiming to offer bb buffet & then decided to remove it!! publishing prices & in case you are refunding your money they cut it down to less than quarter!!

Wonderful place with lodges right on the beach. Nice design with comfortable beds, good AC and fantastic outdoor shower. Worth knowing that lodges don't have WiFi, you only find it reception (we saw it as a bonus:). Also, the restaurant is "dry" but you can bring your own drinks. Fab lobsters in the menu! Great location, perfect for exploring Wadi Darbat and other areas.

A very relaxing place to stay, the lodges are very comfortable and the outdoor showers are very refreshing.

The restaurant is a little bit basic so if you have a rental car then my advice is to explore more of Salalah for places to eat.
