Wir waren begeistert vom überaus herzlichen Empfang, von der bezaubernden Gastgeberin, der besonderen Atmosphäre des Hauses und dem Frühstück mit Blick auf Urbino. Die Stadt ist von dort gut erreichbar und unvergleichlich schön und vielfältig.

We could not have asked for a lovelier place to stay in Urbino! Alessandro and family are wonderful and the room and home were amazing to stay in. So much history and so many kindnesses. The breakfast looking out on the view of Urbino was incredible! The walk into Urbino is fine—honestly, so much better than wrangling parking.

I wonder if there is a better small hotel than Ca'Lavalle. Perhaos there is, but only in fiction or on film. A stay at this location unlocks superlatives about the atmosphere, its spaciousness, the house and its decoration, the quiet, the garden, conversation with fellow guests, the terrace, the pets - but above all about Alessandra, her mother and their colleagues for their attentiveness, kindness and generosity. The city is a 10 min walk away; there are wonderful views from the hotel terrace.

The lovely old home, large rooms, antique furniture, quiet, and the especially warm hospitality of Alessandra and her mother. Breakfast was delicious.

Beautiful house with view on the city. Perfect location for a visit to Urbino. The house feels like a palace. Excellent and copious breakfast. Very friendly host helped to book an excellent restaurant. You can walk from the house to the city.
When walking back to the house there is a short stretch of road without lighting, so bring a flashlight for safety.

It was an outstanding, fascinating stay in CaLavalle. We recommend this place all people who want to experience a romantic and unconvetionell accomodation. Wake up in the morning and enjoy the beautiful sight to Urbino during a lovely prepared breakfast. Unique!

Breakfast superb. Beautiful 600 years old mansion in quiet location with excellent views of URBINO And what a lovely old town this is.
Hospitality could not be better.

I enjoyed the history of this home built in the 1400’s. Breakfast was served on the terrace with a view of the walled city of Urbino.

Property was a lovely house in the countryside about one KM from Urbino. The room was very large and comfy. The host was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served in the garden with a nice view of Urbino.

The property was in a lovely garden with views of Urbino in the near distance . The stone house had stood there for centuries . The hosts were exceptionally helpful to us who were rather troublesome guests, because we were confused about how we would get to the property without a car not knowing the region and having lost our phone . The bed and bedding was, as well as beautiful, so comfortable .
There was nothing I didn’t like , it was perfect for me . We were at first concerned that it was further away from the city than 2 kilometres as we didn’t travel by car but our hosts showed us a lovely short cut along a small walking path through the lovely countryside , it was so nice to be outside the city but also close . one regret is we’re we’re not there long enough.

Beautiful location with the most charming view of Urbino - the garden is a great place to relax and take in the view. Delightful bedroom and dining room and terrace. Best of all was the amazing hospitality!

The bathroom is quite small, but it's an old house and there's not much that could be done.
The room is gorgeous and the linens are very nice, quite luxurious. The setting is also stunning. The owners are lovely and helpful.

Incredibly welcoming and attentive hosts, such a lovely house and setting. Great breakfast, great views from the terrace and a wonderfully peaceful place to stay. I would love to stay again.

This place is something out of a dream - picture perfect rolling hills, breakfast in the garden with a view of Urbino, a historical house with vintage decor and family history. All 5 minutes driving distance from the city! Very helpful staff as well. Would definitely stay again!
