This location is close to the Harbour from where you can hop on the many boats for a close up whale watching experience and afterwards enjoy local style Fish & Chips or calamari and prawn . The locations is close to an existing abalone farming operation and you often get the "unique" smell ... depending on the wind direction ...

An absolutely bad experience from beginning till end with the accommodation from start to end! Late arrival confirm but host never showed up. Numerous calls by us and the gate security to the host and their agents went unanswered. After 2 hours one of the security staff took us to the nearby township to search for the agents. Only to be told that the host NEVER informed them of a booking.. Misleading marketing. This is NOT 3 bedroom 😒. be prepare for a small couch in the lounge area... and make sure it and some of the items utensils are not broken.... least you get charge for fictitious damages and the host withholding your deposit. Better still insist that the agents are present and have inspected the unit on your exit. We call the agents on book out time and they responded an hour afterward.. that they cannot come to conduct the inspection. Two days later after multiple calls/messages to the host and the agents, we received "pictures " of damages ..... enuf said!! As a regular visitor to Hermanus often with out of town and overseas friends and family this experience ranks as one as the most forgettable in terms of the accommodation offering!

Staff more concerned about collecting the deposit, no advice about TV or the fact that the geyser was switched off...only realized this in the morning when water was cold! Dstv did not work until we reported it. Had a problem with neighbors parking like idiots so we couldn't fit our suv in the allocated parking. Furniture and beds are worn and dirty. Had to request deposit back from rental person, no feedback on no breakages. Got the impression not really worried about the details and state of the property! Not recommended. Will never stay there again.

The location is close to the township but it is the security complex. The view is amazing

The whole weekend the TV was not working. I booked for 5 people but on our arrival we were told that the sleeper couch is broken. We were given 1 toilet paper roll for the entire weekend even that one we requested from the agent/housekeeper. If we didn't notice that there is no toilet paper in the bathroom we were going to be left without one. We were harassed by the neighbor the entire time for making a noise before 1pm on Saturday just by chatting without music or tv. But the owner made an effort of calling and finding out what was going on with the neighbors. We decided to move to the pool area where we also did a braai and played music, even there we were told we are making a noise and we can't stay there for a long time we need to braai and leave. The apartment had a lot of broken things, like cabinet handles, bathtub handle and sliding door handle. Curtains had stains

The view of the beach. The apartment was beautiful. Kitchen had all the useful utensils.

The television was not working. No dstv channels. No effort was made to make it work.

It’s in an awkward part of Hermanus and doesn’t feel very safe or allow one to enjoy the sea/beach etc!

The location was great .

The 2nd bedroom had an awful cigarette stench, the lock on the sliding doors did not lock - the locks were rusted , broken and in an awful state. The chairs are filthy dirty, the couch is very old , lots of humps, very uncomfortable. Curtains are dirty and stained ...Hairdryer- no round plug for hairdryer. Bedding - awful - duvets inners need to be replaced -pillows very uncomfortable. Towels old and hard . Apartment needs a complete refurbish ... 2 Star rating

DSTV did not work - toaster not working - handle to glass door loose nearly falling apart

On arrival we struggled to get the keys and had to wait on the host to get these. The property was run down and dusty. The tv did not work and when we brought it to hosts attention nothing was done to resolve.

It was self catering, so no breakfast. The location is amazing The view is fantastic The braai area was amazing. The flat had most of the equpment we needed.

The deposit was inconvenient and complicated a tight budget for the visit. Booking.com made it appear that the price was for booking for 4 but instead made the booking for 1 meaning we had to pay in and that is not great. It should be very clear when making a booking. The DSTV was broken for the stay. There were a lot of broken finishing causing us to spend an hor going through the flat taking photos of everything that was broken in fear of being blamed for it later. We felt uncomfortable with this. Getting our deposit back was not automatic and required multiple communications.

The view is beautiful but the location it is almost in a industrial area.

The housekeeper send me a pin location but not for the complex but where they where at that moment. The TV was switch off the owner had to reconnect the service and then it was switch off a day before we left and had to phone them again. The furniture on the patio is not to standard. The curtains in the main bedroom was not clean, the wall at the head of the bed was also not clean.

The host was extremely responsive from the time of booking right through to any questions we needed answers to when booking in. Jessica was incredibly accommodating allowing us a late check out and our deposit was paid within a few hours of check out. The facilities were well maintained, clean and our kids loved both the apartment and surrounding facilities. The view of the ocean from the balcony was spectacular.
