Good facilities, close to food shop and restaurant

It was difficult to appear display of key lock. When we put finger to turn on display number, not possible. It is needed to turn on to put hand on the display.

Communication with host was great. They sorted out any issues quickly. Lots of space and nicely furnished. Lovely fluffy towels and nice welcome refreshments. Location was great, right in the high street.

We expected it to be a bit noisy, but it was so loud with traffic and people all through the night that we didn’t sleep well (our children slept better at the rear of the property). The windows were not double glazed and were quite stiff to open and close. When we arrived we didn’t have any forks or enough plates for the five of us. Also we couldn’t wash up as there was no plug or bowl. The host brought these things round later that day which was good.

Apartment not what we expected, photos very misleading, booked the deluxe apartment but didn’t get it .windows in lounge/ kitchen and front bedroom were not sealed could hear people taking outside.no dishwasher, no breakfast bar , door missing off washing machine , socket hanging off front bedroom wall.

Nothing it was perfect

Location was great for wondering around the town and accessing public transport., and its just minutes away from the beach and iconic Brighton Pier. The apartment was clean and kitchen well equipped for the breakfast use that we needed. Good size dining table for use as eating or work desk and a very comfy couch.

Towel rails would be nice rather than us setting up the airing rack in the hallway but there is plenty of room for the airing rack.

the property was spacious and in a good location for us to be able to explore brighton in several different areas.

We were informed upon arrival that there was no hot water or central heating due to a part missing off of the boiler and that it would be fixed that evening. went to have a shower the next day and the hot water was still not working. After speaking to the host it came to the conclusion that it would not be arriving throughout our stay. so for 6 of us we had 3 small electric heaters to keep us all warm in very cold temperatures. The hosts communication was poor and told me not to leave a review due to it being ‘damaging’ to their reputation. The bathroom door was very stiff and would not shut properly unless physically pushed against, light switch was loose, kitchen door and hallway door would not shut. Windows were very old so all the noise and commotion outside you could hear. Including deliveries to the shop below. All in all, I would not recommend this apartment due to lack of contact, providing basic needs, no professionalism, and minimal effort to make things right.

The location was great & convenient

It is very outdated with a lot of things being fault such as the glass cupboard getting stuck every time and the sink not working properly. Considering the hosts made a point before we arrived that noise should be kept to a minimum which is fine as we did but the flat above were nothing but noisy both nights we stayed resulting in the whole group being unable to sleep. After raising concerns to the host initially they did not even reply until I had to chase them in which they made minimal effort to rectify as the noise continued on the second night. Considering we tidied up after ourselves and washed all dishes used etc we were expected to put out own rubbish out into bins on the street…..we put our rubbish into the flat bin but did not take it out because why should we when we have ti pay a £105 cleaning fee?! This flat was a real let down and the customer service was poor so will not be returning & would not recommend to anyone looking to actually enjoy themselves.

I booked this apartment for my son and family and they thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The apartment was comfortable and had everything they needed. The location was superb for them - so central to favourite shops and eating places. A short walk led to the beach and the more quirky parts of Brighton. I know they would choose the same apartment again.
