The hosts, Val and Hugh, are very welcoming, hospitable and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom are a good size, and there is a small private sitting room: this and the bathroom are shared with another double room. The house is very well appointed. There are beautiful sea views from the main living area and it is handy for the Bays and the northern motorway, but quiet.
I like to have a kettle in the room, but I was welcome to use the main kitchen.

This was our second stay and it was even better than the first. Val and Hugh are terrific hosts, it’s like visiting family only better!. They are so warm and welcoming and the location is stunning. We had to hunker down during Cyclone Gabrielle and I felt very safe and blessed to be in their lovely home.
The weather, but Hugh kindly took us down to the store to get provisions so we made the best of it. The picture windows allowed us to see the cyclone roll in and a boat that lost its mooring was saved by the locals. All very exciting.

Exceptional hospitality from the owners. They invited me for dinner both nights I was there! I felt very cared for.
A wonderful warm friendly welcome from both Bob and Val. A beautiful home to stay in with beautiful views. I highly recommend this air bnb as a must to stay at in this location.

Didn't have breakfast. Location was great with beautiful sea views. The hosts very hospitable and welcoming. The room is part of their home but easily separated from it. Very private.
