A beautiful home in a fabulous location! The lovely hosts were extremely welcoming and the basket of provisions and wood-burner were an added bonus. The night sky was spectacular!

The house was extremely well furnished and styled, big and comfortable. We were all truly stunned when we arrived. The hosts were also very welcoming at check-in.

The check-out time was very precise, the hosts were waiting at 10.30 and seemed annoyed when we were only 10 minutes late. I understand that we didn't tell the hosts in advance that we might be late checking out, but a little bit more understanding and patience would be appreciated. Wifi quality was also poor but understandable considering the location. :)

Peaceful with great views, good size bedrooms and bathrooms. Living area and kitchen very well equipped. Would definitely come back

Excellently presented, lovely hosts, everything we needed was there.

First thing was that both hosts were so welcoming and kind. we were last minute booking aswell as late arrivals and they had meet us at the home to ensure we understood how to use the kitchen appliances and so forth. I had stayed at a lot of cottages and homes and this is hands down the best one so far! the home was extremely clean and had everything that we needed. We are very grateful for the amazing hospitality and cannot recommend this place enough, Thankyou also for the basket of goodies!

Friendly host. Beautiful location. Well fitted out kitchen with equipment. Beds very comfortable. Bathrooms and water pressure perfect.

The location of the property is close to everything that we wanted to see so that was great. Loved that it was a full house experience instead of a hotel room. Having a fire was delightful

There was no fire poker so we had to use kindling to move things around, made it very easy to get lots of splinters. The heater in the main bedroom stopped working after a day or two. The dryer would stop after a few minutes stating the water tray needed to be emptied or the lint trap emptied when it didn't, that made drying clothes in front of the fire time consuming.

We were fortunate to book two nights at the guesthouse which we found relaxing and tranquil. The hosts were very welcoming, with the fire going, a hamper of treats and introducing us to their lovely accommodation. Even though we live within an hour of the property, we had a wonderful escape. The house is very well equipped with stylish interior design and we enjoyed the sense of peace watching the birdlife as well as the clouds passing over the mountains. We can thoroughly recommend to others seeking a ‘staycation’ as well as to visitors to Tas.

We stayed at Mountain Blue for one night of a family weekend away. We felt spoilt from the minute we arrived. High end items throughout, kitchen, bathroom, linen, etc. The host had the woodfire going and panel heaters in the bedrooms on. So it was warm from the start. Thank you for a little bit of luxury in such a tranquil location. It was just what we needed. We'll be back!

Very well appointed, comfortable and clean

The hosts were friendly and helpful, personally introduced themselves. They had prepared farm produce from their organic farm for us and had left a significant amount of other complimentary food for us to enjoy. The owner had her paintings displayed all over the house. The house was built only about 4 years ago, it was spacious, clean, top quality.

Everything was great

Large house with modern facilities. Lovely local produce left as a welcome was a nice touch. Host also came back & dropped off a dozen fresh eggs. House is on a nice size block of land with mountain and farm views.

Gardens need some work and lack of trees. Outside construction in progress with material and cement mixer left in full view.

Hosts were very warm and hospitable. The place was very clean and well appointed. Welcome basket containing chocolates, fresh fruits, fresh bread, fresh eggs from the hosts’ chooks, smoked salmon in the fridge including milk and juice were a lovely treats. The linens and towels were fresh and of good quality. Would love to be back and will definitely tell this very special accomodation to friends who will be exploring north / west Tassie.!
